Can they tax you on your transactions? Also, is there too much you could withdrawal to your bank account from Coinbase? Can you get red flagged by your bank? Should you use different checking accounts?

Only the govt can tax you. And I have not heard of Coinbase doing any reporting for tax purposes.
Don't know about your bank policies but Coinbase is a legal business so should not be any different to normal bank reporting.
