Last year I opened up a coinbase.com and blockchain.info account so I can send bitcoins to sportsbooks. But I still don't understand bitcoins very well so I have some questions. I have made many deposits from my bank to coinbase and it seems they charge a 1% fee and it normally takes 5 days to credit my coinbase account. I send large amounts. Are there any alternatives to coinbase that charges a lower fee.
I think someone told me it is best to use blokchain.info as an intermediary wallet for deposits and payouts from sportsbooks. Is this correct?
I am also curious if I can send bitcoins to friends. If so, are there fees and is it better to do this with coinbase or blockchain.
I also thought one benefit of bitcoins was there is no personal info but I opened the coinbase and blockchain accounts in my name. Can a friend open these accounts in any name. It also seems I can get $75 cash if a friend opens a coinbase account.
What fees are involved if I ever get a withdrawal from coinbase to my bank.
Finally, can I deposit my bitcoins into a friend's sportsbook account or will the sportsbook know the deposit came from me and not him?
Thanks
