Thanks, those are interesting to view. Do you think the part about the dog picks being losers overall is a big enough sample to be deemed as fairly accurate? Or at least to be able to say that they seem to be break even plays at best, with your current picking process.

Maybe it'll change over the course of the season, GG seems to be betting pretty wild on dogs and I remember him saying his best part is always in the beginning and mid-august to end, and he undeniably went on some serious run earlier on (though he seems to be in free fall atm).

I wouldn't consider any of these samples really large enough to be accurate as to the expected win %'s in the future. These are just the plays I have made since starting the thread.

GG does take a lot of dogs and he does very well taking them. Obviously I seem to be much better at picking favorites. I hope the underdog numbers turn around some by the end of the season, but we'll just have to see I guess.

Tonight went from looking great to looking eh, but hopefully a couple will finish out alright.

Thanks for posting this. It was helpful to have another sheet to double check the numbers. To clarify some of your discrepancies, I did not include those total plays or props in my record. I was planning on keeping a separate record of them because they are not my strength, but I ended up scrapping that and focusing only on the moneyline plays. I also didn't include any of my all star or HR derby picks. I hit both of the ASG picks but didn't assign units or anything to em and just wanted to provide them for action.

I'm glad your following and keeping track of everything. It's very helpful.

Just a thought, I wonder if it would be more profitable to bet first 5 inn. It seems lots of games are lost in late innings but then again some are won. I think I'll keep track of it starting today and see what happens. I don't know if it makes much differance or not

Yeah really bad day. I wasn't feeling very comfortable with a lot of the plays, that's why the units were lower and why a 4-9 day only ended up down about 12 units. I'm glad I didn't go heavy into many games.

Up a little bit so far today. Hoping some of the current games end well to start another streak today.

I really like the Rangers in that spot tonight, but Ogando worries me, even though he's been very good, and its way too much juice to lay unless I'm sure. So the Reds are my only play tonight.

C'mon Reds. I'm a Reds fan anyway. They are underachieving all year and need to start playing close to their potential. Give up the lead and fail to get a runner in from scoring position with 1 out. They have a good pen, but with their inability to get any offense going I'm definitely worried.

i dont disagree with this, however dont you feel they begging you even more to take the Pads for "value"? or just flat out trying to scare ppl off phils? they had to really give this one value after fridays v"value" on Pads got smoked, i think chasing value on sd when all their value was gone when they left fla is a bad idea. i did play under tho and i believe you are prob dead on about over

I feel like they may, cause like you pointed out, we've lost a lot of games in late innings. If you track your plays, please post the results after the week so I can take it into consideration.
