What's your thoughts on Cards/Pirates today? If you've made a decision, who you have and why? Of course if you don't mind explaining.

BOTH Cubs and Hous have the most pathetic offence I've ever seen. These teams SUCK!(of course I am saying this because Like a moron I took the Over!!) Should have taken a side. Break a leg with Hous.

I took houston and they can't get a run in from third with less than 2 outs

I haven't really looked too much at the game yet but I am leaning Cards. This is a huge series for both teams. I think the Cards are a much better team even though the Pirates have been playing so well. Garcia is a beast pitcher. While Correia has been good this year, I think the Cards offense could light him up today. Also a little steam line movement in favor of the Cards following the public money makes me comfortable with them. 8 point movement for an away favorite is very telling. I'll have my final play up later, but I am definitely leaning Cards.

I know. I think they had runners on 3rd 2 times in first 3 innings with less than 2 outs and couldn't get a single run. That's just horrible fundamental/situational hitting!

I must have posted at the same time. I'm thinking the same thing and was watching the odds off and on today thinking I would throw atleast a unit that way for those odds since they have to win eventually, or atleast I think they do

They are in the middle of an unbelievably tough part of their schedule (@ LAA, TEX, @TOR, @BOS, @NYY, TB). They may honestly not win a game until August when they open with Oakland at home.

Hopefully tonight will be the night, so we can cash that and I can roll the profits into a play AGAINST them tomorrow haha

I hit a 6 teamer today thanks to you brosef! Though I was on Philly -1.5, I lost the ST8 SD bet, but kept my lean to cash the parlay. I like to hedge with a parlay in case not all your picks come through. Are you wagering on any of the late games?

Thanks, those are interesting to view. Do you think the part about the dog picks being losers overall is a big enough sample to be deemed as fairly accurate? Or at least to be able to say that they seem to be break even plays at best, with your current picking process.

Maybe it'll change over the course of the season, GG seems to be betting pretty wild on dogs and I remember him saying his best part is always in the beginning and mid-august to end, and he undeniably went on some serious run earlier on (though he seems to be in free fall atm).
