I have a couple reasons why:
-Liriano had an unreal game last game at home. Otherwise, he has been dreadful at home this season...
-There is heavy public money on him (likely based partially on his previous performance)

The main reason is the line behavior. The line looks very attractive for Liriano and could bring a lot of money on the Twins for the books based on Liriano's recent performance.

That's basically my stream of thought on the game...lets hope it produces...

Though I said I was leaning towards the White Sox earlier, I have changed my mind. Looking at it some more and watching the lines, I am actually gonna take the Dbacks...lmao. Maybe smart, maybe not. Lets add:

Diamondbacks -125 (3 units)

And the other 4:00 plays are:
Athletics -113 (6 units)
Dodgers -147 (4 units)

Padres actually producing right now, lets hope this continues to cash that 6 unit play.

Yeah, I was kinda up in the air with a slight lean on CWS earlier, but feeling ARI now. Hopefully the switch will pay off.

Padres are looking good so far...gotta close it out though.

Can't believe Aaron Cook just escaped the 2nd with the Tigers only putting up 1 run, hopefully thats a good sign for Colorado...

Hey bud, sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been away from my comp. I couldn't pull the trigger on a total. Honestly, I rarely bet totals so my opinion may not be worth anything. But I did consider throwing a unit on the under. I like your pick...even though were at two runs already.

Today could have gone a lot better. Padres blew a game they had under control on an error that may or may not have caused them to lose, Royals also had a good shot to take the game. I was originally leaning White Sox and changed to the DBacks last second. Regret that, won't be changing like that again, no matter how the line behaves...

Shouldn't have made the Cubs play. Was a junkie play...wanted action on the lone late game...

After all that, it was still a positive day so I can't complain. Gettin at it again tomorrow to get over 50 units.

Starting to look at the games for today...probably post them around 4:00 today...

After a huge 32 unit first day, the last few days haven't been up as much. I'm gonna go ahead and blame that on interleague play haha. Hopefully I can hit it big tonight... be back in a little guys.

UGH, after first look, I'm not liking the slate tonight much...hopefully some plays will formulate during the day as the bets come in and I can watch the lines dance a little. Interleague is tough...we'll see how the day develops. May be some small unit plays tonight, but we'll see.

Mondays suck enough as it is, wish the MLB could give us Mondays full of games for some enjoyment and action.

6/20/11 Plays

So after some time, I am actually feeling pretty good about tonight's slate. Really glad some stuff shaped up to let me pull the trigger on some plays. I am on a 4 day up streak so if you start tailing tonight, beware of the inevitability of a down day...maybe play 'em with some lower units. I'm also playing some big favorites tonight so you may not wanna lay all the juice. Also taking some runline plays to curb the juice on the heaviest favorites, which I will list under the moneylines. Just take this all into consideration.Here we go, lets keep rollin':

6/20/11 Plays:
White Sox -159 (6 units)
Dodgers -153 (5 units)
Orioles -102 (4 units)
Rays +125 (4 units)
Blue Jays +109 (3 units)
Yankees -106 (3 units)

Runline plays:
Rangers -1 [-137] (3 units)

Now I know you all probably think I am crazy since I said earlier that I wasn't liking the slate tonight and came back with a play on every matchup, but thats why most of the plays are smaller units. I range my units from 1-10. If you have followed me at all, you notice that my big plays are usually around 6 or 7. I only put up 10 on a play if I am feeling very good about it. So despite not liking the card completely, I feel pretty good about these plays.

Now, for the reasons for the runline plays. I love the Rangers and Red Sox, even at -179 and -194 respectively. However, I really don't want to lay that juice on a 5 unit play for each. So I decided to split the two into two runline bets to cover if they only win by 1 run. I feel like both can easily cover the -1.5 runline but at least if they only win by 1, I cover some loss. I use 5dimes which offers -1 lines. If your book doesn't and you want to play these, play them as you want. I had both listed at 5 units each so you can play them at that, but I would recommend you lower it to 3 or 4 unit plays.

Thats it...Lets hope this hot streak keeps going...

Dodgers are now 2-1 in the last three games. It makes up for the 1st loss that we suffered against HOUSTON. Kershaw with a CGSO!!!!!! I had him on my Fantasy team and won $$$$ with him!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!! Lets have another winning day tomorrow!!!!
