#2878Gentlemen, looks like a slow night, not much action going. After some time off, here is my play tonight.
Chicago White Sox vs Seattle Mariners:
CWS:
Coming off a long home stand where they were 6-4 in their last 10, but only 1-3 in their last 4. Gavin Floyd is only 1-0 in his last 3, but has an ERA of 1.21 and a WHIP of 0.94 in that span. He gave up 3 runs in 6 innings in a 6-3 victory in April this season vs the Mariners. Chicago is getting enough runs, but not the pitching. They are hitting .277 vs lefties in their last 10 and they are a +9 run differential in their last 10. They have a slight edge in the BP of the available pitchers.
Seattle:
Seattle just completed a 3 game series vs TBay, winning 2 of 3, but only 5-5 in their last 10. Lucas French, traded to Seattle at the deadline from the Tigers, is on the mound. He has given up 5 runs and 4 runs in each of his last 2 starts, going 5 innings in both games. Seattle is batting .298 vs righties in their last 10. Seattle lost 2 of 3 in Chicago earlier this season.
Going with the better pitcher.
PICK: White Sox (1 unit)
Record: 38-23-2 (+24 units)

Some make that type of post without the entire results for the day, but it comes with the territory. At the time of your post, the day was down but if AZ gets the job done, it will turn out being another nice evening.Comment -

#2890Well done. I've told you and other's, I'm just as happy for you when you win. Continued success the remainder of the season. Thanks for the pigskin.
Thank you, I agree and were I to believe in "labels" you would have known how much I liked the play. Things were in the right place and AZ did what was thought they would. Best part is, today is a new day and with it comes new challenges.

#2894Why so heavy on Baltimore??? Everyone is on the O's, I can't see it.
Orioles are 2-3 in game 2 of home series after losing the first game when favoured the second. They are 27-42 vs. RHP overall. Hernandez is 1-2 in home starts and has given up HR's in 6 of his last 7 starts (7 HR's in total). Cahill is trash but still, Oakland bats are untouchable right now.Comment -

Modesty because I don't want others feeling bad about themselves. Here's a "ballpark figure", since the previous update, up over 46 units from the 924 listed in thread with a 50.9% win rate. Yea, I know that's a lot but it is what it is and that's all that it is for it works for my family and I. Every off-season I work on trying to up the win rate and maintain the unit count but they don't the right grove (yet) and until I can find a way to do this "better", I'm not going to change it - there are tweaks every year but they are minor. Thank you and to you as well the rest of the season.Comment -

It is a system's play here. I don't know what the reasons are for others being on them - sorry.
Your numbers seem accurate/close enough without me having/needing to go recheck them. While some see a glass 50% full as half full, others see it as half empty. Not being sarcastic, funny, etc at all - this leads to the credo that I 100% believe in, people need to cap games a way that works for them. Think about a boxing match for a while, one guy is beating the hell out of the other - yet the battered one is still there and knows the only way to win this fight is to do something about it. Translate it to tonight's ballgame. Will I be right or wrong tonight? I don't know, but hope I'm right and after seeing last night's game this afternoon have another post to add to the thread.
Thank you for the way you asked your question - very refreshing.Feel free to drop in again when able and
the remainder of the season.

BALT,
Hey TA, good luck on this, I will be tailing. I'm going in a little different direction that I don't do often.
Parlay: Minnesota & NYY
Both Minn & NY playing at home. Blackburn is a totally different pitcher at home (5-0) and Davies has been struggling and is 0-3 on the road. Chamberlain is 3-0, 2.55 ERA, 1.15 WHIP in his last 3. Richmond is 1-2, 4.76 ERA, 1.47 ERA in his last 3. Back in May Richmond gave up 5 runs to NY in 1.2 innings. Yankees one of the hottest teams over the last 2 months.
PICK: NYY & MINN Parlay (1 unit)
Record: 38-24-2 (+23)

Or, are you always listing the amount to risk, regardless of whether or not the teams is a -- odds or + odds? So, if Team A was +120 I would risk 10 units to win 12. And if Team A was a fav of -120 I would risk 10 to win 8.33?Comment
