I do hate the juice. I just felt very strongly about these two games and couldn't see them losing. I do lose these big games though from time to time, but I am just trying to pick them more wisely.

Does that place you in Widsor? Hope you made it over as it was a blast. There was a jacuzzi bus that we rode in for a lap - didn't know a soul on there but people were in a great mood all day. Another great night TA!! Nice to see Jackson go 6 strong. Think the tigers are getting their pitching in order. I know it was only KC, but the last couple of years, they didn't close out these kind of teams the way they did tonight. Good night.

If they get in the playoffs, anything can happen. Offense wins games but defense wins championships. If they were to shorten the rotation, it'd mean some team would have to face JV twice in the series and that's something you don't want to do. I've heard rumblings that he's being given consideration for the Young Award. Yea, he's getting scary good but still tosses a clunker now and then but even if he clunks one, look what's behind him in the rotation. Starting to look real nice.

Agreed. Nice to see some horses in the bullpen. If I remember right all they used to have was Rodney and he can be a real crap shoot...

Still a lot of games to be played between now and then. FYI, Rodney has gotten the save when that situation presented itself in all but one time this season. Yea, he gives up a first batter faced hit/walk but afterwards he's been fine. The tigers projected top three should all be able to go 7+ innings and we both know JV, being the gamer he is, won't go out without fight from the skipper. Their's stuff going on in Toledo that's right on schedule for a late season 'push' to get over the hurdle. The question I have is, will the bats connect on the road? Time will tell.
