⚽ World Cup Predictions Today: Best Bets & Prop Picks for Saturday, June 20

The Netherlands offense is set to dominate Sweden's defense, while Ecuador's defense seems destined to smother a hapless Curacao.

Four matches are being played today, and my best World Cup predictions for Saturday focus on three of those games. The Netherlands are in need of a win against Sweden. Below, I highlight why they should score plenty against a struggling defense.

Then, I dissect two Group E matchups, as Ecuador looks to remain alive in the tournament against Curacao and Germany looks to ride its offense to the knockout stage.

Netherlands Over 1.5 goals (-148) vs. Sweden

If you read my Netherlands vs. Sweden prediction, then it should come as no surprise that this is my best play of the day. The Netherlands scored two goals in its World Cup opener against Spain. The Dutch have been excellent offensively for more than a year, scoring multiple goals in nine of their 13 games since last June.

Sweden only allowed one goal in its opener, but the Swedish defense has struggled recently, allowing multiple goals in three of four games.

Kickoff time: 1 p.m. ET
Netherlands vs. Sweden odds: Netherlands (-135) Draw (+310) Sweden (+360)
How to watch: FOX, Telemundo, FOX One

💵 SBR Edge: Sweden's defense is porous

Sweden has allowed multiple goals in six of its last 10 competitive matches. With the Netherlands needing a win after a draw in its first match, this is one of the easiest three-unit plays you'll find.

Curacao Under 1.5 corners (+140) vs. Ecuador

Curacao scored against Germany, but I don't give them any chance of scoring here. However, the price for Curacao to score zero goals is set near -300 at most sportsbooks, and even the price for Ecuador to win in a shutout is priced higher than -200. There's no value in either play.

To still capitalize on Ecuador's great defense, I'll back Curacao to record fewer than 1.5 corners. In its first match, Curacao managed just one corner against Germany. And while Ecuador conceded three corners to Ivory Coast, Ivory Coast and Curacao are two very different caliber opponents.

Ecuador will jump out to an early lead in this match, which may lead to Curacao attempting to attack more. But even in a 7-1 loss to Germany, Curacao managed only 35% possession.

Ecuador vs. Curacao odds: Ecuador (-1000) Draw (+950) Curacao (+2500)

Deniz Undav anytime goalscorer (+145)

Undav entered Germany's match against Curacao as a sub, but that didn't stop him from making his mark on the game. He scored on his only shot on goal, while assisting on two other goals. He now has three goals in his last three games with Germany and four goals in four matches this year.

While I actually don't think Germany will run away with this game and would actually pick a draw over the Germans winning, I do think they'll score a few goals. This is a team with at least two goals in seven consecutive matches, including three competitive ones.

Undav is expected to start this game on the bench, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was a late addition to the starting lineup. I actually like him better if he doesn't start, as he will enter as a fresh body against tired players.

There are plenty more Germany vs. Ivory Coast predictions to be made - let's cash together today.

Kickoff time: 4 p.m. ET
Germany vs. Ivory Coast odds: Germany (-190) Draw (+370) Ivory Coast (+475)
