Here's why I am predicting a draw:

This match just screams draw, doesn't it? Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest are two of the most tactically safe clubs in the Premier League, treating every match like a chess match, waiting for the other to make one misstep to capitalize on it. They combined to draw 22 of 76 matches (28.95%) last season, including their last meeting at Selhurst Park in May.

Everton's opening matchday defeat to Leeds United was hugely disappointing, as David Moyes' men came into the campaign with a glimmer of hope for the first time since Carlo Ancelotti was in charge. However, as the Toffees prepare to christen Hill Dickinson Stadium, I'm confident in their ability to beat Brighton for a second time in the Moyes era.

Here's why I am predicting Liverpool to win:

There's a lot of off-field drama in the build-up to this match, with the Scouse vultures circling high above an unhappy Alexander Isak. Liverpool also snatched one of Newcastle's top striker targets, Hugo Ekitike, before the season. Why all of this attention on the strikers? The Reds have far more goal-scoring threats in their XI heading into this match. I simply do not know where the Toons' goals will come from, so I'm riding with the reigning champions.
