Premier League Title Odds 2026-27: Arsenal Hang on Despite First Loss
Gameweek 5 is in the rearview mirror; we're into the international break, and we've updated the latest Premier League odds. Manchester City is the only team to go a perfect five-for-five to start the campaign, with Arsenal stumbling in a sound defeat to Brighton just ahead of the break.
Brentford, Leeds, Liverpool, and Everton also remain undefeated ahead of the break, sitting at 2-3-0.
Three teams remain winless to start the year, with Spurs and Fulham sitting at 0-2-3 and Bournemouth just ahead of them at 0-3-2. Both Tottenham and Coventry scored their first goals of the season in MW5, with the Sky Blues grabbing a victory in the process. Despite the win, CCFC remains at the bottom of the oddsboard (+25000).

Arsenal (+110)
A resounding 3-0 loss to Brighton at the AmEx has lengthened the Gunners' odds for the first time this season, but they still lead way. Oddsmakers are backing everyone, including City, to stumble before the year ends.
Arsenal looked firmly like the second-best team on the pitch, with Brighton playing a near-perfect game, using their incredible press to limit time on the ball. The Gunners won the xG battle, but expected goals don't win games, and this could be one of the better prices we see here for the rest of the season.
Still, these odds are insanely low for a full season future.
Manchester City (+125)
Manchester City has had an unusual start to the season, having to pull off comebacks, picking up a win with just 10 men, and a back-and-forth affair against a team near the bottom of the oddsboard.
But five-for-five speaks for itself; it's an incredible start to the season. Enzo Maresca's squad hasn't looked much like the dominant force Pep's team was, with three of their wins by a single goal and not necessarily in a dominant fashion.
This roster is loaded up and down the pitch and on the bench and will compete until the bitter end. Arsenal doesn't have a lot of room for error, as we saw from the odds shortening from +225 to +125 with just one Gunners loss.

While historical odds aren't particularly easy to track given different trackers using different dates, we can have a general look at preseason odds in the history of the Premier League.
Outside Leicester City, winning with a +500000 preseason odds line, no team has ever had odds longer than +650 in the preseason and raised the trophy at the end. This year that group included Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
Will Chelsea shock the world and pull it off? They've moved into the top three on the oddsboard, but they're a distant third.
