Erling Haaland and Harry Kane meet in a clash of two Golden Boot hopefuls today as I make my best Norway vs. England prediction. England has a 64% win probability on prediction market apps, but after the Norwegians' impressive victory over Brazil, they're being undervalued.
My best World Cup picks highlight how Norway can pull off the upset behind another huge game from Haaland, with kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., set for 5 p.m. ET (FOX, Telemundo, FOX One).

England's ability to grind out a win over Mexico at the Azteca while playing most of the second half down a man was unbelievably impressive. However, I still can't get over how much this team struggled with Congo, Panama, and Ghana. Inconsistent offense and defense have been a problem.
Norway's win over Brazil was dominant. While Norway struggled with Brazil's counters, I don't expect that to be an issue here, as England maintains possession for most of the game. Haaland can score from anywhere, and I'm backing him to net the game-winner for Norway in extra time.
Score prediction: Norway 3, England 2
💵 My best pick: Yes - Over 2.5 goals (56 cents)
Norway is averaging 2.4 goals per game, scoring at least twice in every game played by starters. Meanwhile, England is averaging 2.2 goals per game, and that's despite being shut out by Ghana.
However, the main reason I love this prop is that both defenses allow goals. Brazil didn't score against Norway until a stoppage-time penalty kick, despite missing numerous opportunities. Meanwhile, the English have allowed two goals against the two best offenses they've faced.
🦶 Who will score in Norway vs. England?
Follow all of our expert soccer analysis for World Cup 2026.
Erling Haaland, F, Norway (47%)
Haaland has scored in all four of his World Cup matches, with multiple goals in three games. What is most impressive about Haaland is how he can make something out of nothing. He finished with just 0.47 expected goals against Brazil, but still scored twice.
England has allowed five goals at this World Cup, with opponents scoring twice on two different occasions. I just don't see them stopping a player with 24 goals in his last 15 matches with Norway.
Best Norway vs. England goal-scorer pick: Erling Haaland (47%)
🥅 Will both teams score in Norway vs. England?
I've been writing positively about Norway, but Kane and England are also going to have their moments in this match. Not only do I think the English will score, but I think they will score multiple times against a defense that has allowed a goal in every game at this World Cup.
Both teams to score (BTTS) pick: Yes (60 cents)
