The unstoppable Colombians face the tournament’s giant killers in the desert on Saturday. La Tricolor, who hold momentum after their draw with Brazil to top Group D on Tuesday, have their eyes firmly set on the semifinals. But the impressive Panama stand in their way at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

Colombia’s unbeaten run stretches back to February 2022, and they enter this quarterfinal as strong -313 favorites.

Colombia vs. Panama score prediction

Colombia 2 vs. Panama 0

Before their draw with Brazil on Tuesday, Colombia had won 10 straight games in all competitions. They're unbeaten in their last 26 matches.

Panama has lost four of their last 10 contests, winning the other six. Both teams can score goals, and each has logged six in this tournament. Panama’s problem is itsdefense. They've conceded five goals in three group games and failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last five outings.

Colombia will be without their key midfielder Jefferson Lerma, as the Crystal Palace player serves a one-match suspension. Houston Dynamo midfielder Alberto Carrasquilla is still missing for Panama due to a ban for his red card against the USA.

With Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and the former Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez leading the attack, Colombia’s irrepressible form will be too much for this Panama team that's competing in the quarterfinals of a major tournament for the first time. The Colombians will be tested, but they will punch their ticket into the semis on Saturday.

The +500 odds will pay a profit of $50 on a winning $10 bet.

Colombia vs. Panama anytime goal scorer prediction

Luis Diaz, Colombia

Diaz has been involved in three goals over his last six appearances for Colombia. He opened the scoring for La Tricolor during the 3-0 win over Costa Rica in the group stage of this tournament. The 27-year-old impressed throughout the opening games as part of a three-man attack alongside James Rodriguez and Jhon Cordoba. Colombia boasted the best crossing accuracy of the group stage, completing 41% of their crosses (20/49).

Rodríguez was responsible for 11 of their successful crosses, which was the most of any player in the tournament after three games. Only three teams have shipped more goals than Panama at the Copa America, so the Premier League forward will be liking his chances against a poor defense.

The +163 odds will pay a profit of $16.30 if Diaz scores.

Best odds: +163 via Caesars | Implied probability: 38%

Colombia vs. Panama best bet

Colombia wins and Under 2.5 goals

Colombia is tied with Argentina and Brazil for the most quarterfinal appearances at the Copa America (12) over the last 31 years. They're facing a Panama team that's never made it this far at a major tournament. Their greater experience during the knockout stage will be a huge advantage for La Tricolor.

There's nothing to lose for Panama. But their defense is questionable while conceding 1.6 goals per game at this summer’s competition. Colombia is too talented offensively, featuring the likes of Rodriguez and Diaz.

The Colombians are also on an incredible 26-game unbeaten streak and have conceded just two goals during this tournament. Panama is therefore a significant underdog in this match. They won’t be a walkover, but Colombia should comfortably take care of business in Glendale on Saturday.

The +195 odds will pay a profit of $19.50 on a successful $10 wager.
