My USA vs. Denmark prediction and best bets for today's Group C encounter (3:10 p.m. ET, Peacock) examine the chances of the United States beating Denmark by at least four goals in a game with seven or more goals. 

Team USA is the formidable -4000 moneyline betting favorite to secure its second straight win. Brock Nelson led the charge in the opener, scoring two while having one disallowed. I'm expecting Brady Tkachuk to have another quick start, with the Danes eventually being worn down by the high-octane, in-your-face Americans.

Team USA were more dominant in their opener against Latvia than the 5-1 score reflected. With two disallowed goals in the first and multiple Grade A opportunities missed, I'm counting on the team with the second-shortest Olympic hockey odds to put on a show.  

Denmark lost 3-1 to Germany despite outshooting them 38-26. While Philipp Grubauer played well between the pipes for Germany, Denmark's shooters can also take some of the blame. The fact that only three of their 22 skaters are NHLers was another reason for their offensive inefficiency. I don't expect them to pose much of a threat to the United States' goal.

Brady, one of the difference makers featured in our men's Olympic hockey X-Factors, had three shots on target against Latvia, one fewer than brother, Matthew. You know Brady will have absolutely no problems getting up for his second Olympic tilt, and his early unbridled intensity should help facilitate the Over. I'd play this bet to +100.
