Switzerland vs. Czechia Prediction & Best Bets: Olympic Hockey Betting Preview

In my Switzerland vs. Czechia prediction and best bets, I'm backing Czechia to win today's early Group A men's Olympic hockey clash (6:10 a.m. ET, Peacock) and secure automatic qualification to the quarterfinals.
With Czechia the -144 betting favorite, backing them on the moneyline is a viable option. But the odds are too short for my liking, so I've turned to Czechia on the spread, with tasty plus-money odds up for grabs. I expect David Pastrnak to help make that happen and light the lamp for a second consecutive game, continuing where he left off against France.
🏒 Switzerland vs. Czechia prediction: Olympic men's hockey
Our expert Olympic hockey picks are based on the latest betting odds at the best sports betting sites.

| Puck line bet | Czechia -1.5 | +185 via BetMGM | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 1u |

💰 Switzerland vs. Czechia best bet: Czechia -1.5 (+185)
Czechia and Switzerland's on-ice performances have been similar, with the former losing to Canada 5-0 and the latter 5-1. Both teams beat France, with Czechia winning 6-3 and Switzerland 4-0.
However, I believe Czechia is the better team, which they'll prove today. Arguably Switzerland's best goal scorer, Kevin Fiala, won't play after suffering a devastating leg injury against Canada. It's a massive blow for the Swiss, who don't have much high-end offensive firepower beyond Timo Meier and Nico Hischier.
I'd play this bet to +165, and it's my best wager on the game.
Score prediction: Czechia 4, Switzerland 2
🔥 Best Switzerland vs. Czechia prop bet: David Pastrnak anytime goal (+140)
Pastrnak scored his first goal of the Olympics in the win over France, and he netted six goals in eight games at last year's World Championships.
Pastrnak has 42 points (11 goals and 31 assists) in the last 27 games with the Boston Bruins, the fifth most since Dec. 9. He only has three shots on goal in two games thus far. If he has three or four shots, which I expect, Pastrnak will have an excellent chance of burying one.
I'd play this bet to +130, and it's my favorite goal-scoring prop for Sunday's early game.
What is the puck line for Switzerland vs. Czechia?

| Switzerland | +1.5 (-225) |
| Czechia | -1.5 (+185) |
