My NHL player props today feature Jack Eichel, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Mark Scheifele.

Eichel is back to peak point production, and so is McDavid, who has adopted a shoot-first mentality. Draisaitl scored for fun against Detroit in recent meetings, as has Scheifele against the Boston Bruins. The four picks comprise my best NHL bets.

⬆️ Jack Eichel player prop: Over 0.5 assists (-140) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

For just the third time this season, Eichel has put together a three-game assist streak. He notched five assists on the road against the New York Islanders, New York Rangers, and New Jersey Devils. 

Now, he gets a chance to extend his streak against the Philadelphia Flyers, whom he has a five-game assist streak against.

The Vegas Golden Knights are on a roll, having won four of the previous five while picking up a point in the shootout loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Vegas scored at least four goals in three of those five games.

⬆️ Connor McDavid player prop: Over 3.5 shots (+140) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't expect McDavid's shooting extravaganza to last forever, but I'll ride it until signs indicate a forthcoming drop in production. I backed him to over on this and the 1.5-point total and against Buffalo on Tuesday. He accomplished both feats. 

McDavid, receiving the second-shortest Hart Trophy odds, fired at least five shots on goal in the previous three games, averaging 6 per game in that small sample size. The situation in tonight's game should benefit him as the Detroit Red Wings played in Calgary on Wednesday. 

The plus-money odds won't stick around for long if he maintains his current level of shot production. Of the best sports betting sites, bet365 provides the best value. Those odds carry a 41.67% implied probability, and a winning $10 bet will facilitate a $14 profit. Backing him to score is a good idea, too, as he netted five in the last three games at Rogers Place.

🔥 Mark Scheifele (+155) ⭐⭐⭐

This is more of a situational pick as Scheifele scored two goals against the Bruins in each of the previous two meetings. Scheifele leads the team with 16 goals, two of which he potted on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars. 

The Bruins are playing solid defense at the moment, reducing this to a 3-star play. 

The odds for Scheifele to score range from +135 to +155 at the best sports betting apps, a fairly significant discrepancy. FanDuel offers the best odds, which would profit $15.50 on a winning $10 bet. Those odds represent a 39.22% probability. 

🔥 Leon Draisaitl (+130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm going back to the well on Draisaitl scoring after he failed to do so against Buffalo. That's because of his recent exploits versus the Red Wings, whom he's scored five goals against in the last four meetings.

That run included at least one goal in every game, and he scored in consecutive games before coming up empty against the Sabres. He leads the team with 17 goals, one more than his partner in crime, the scorching-hot McDavid. 

FanDuel again provides the best value. Its odds imply a 43.48% chance, and a $10 winning bet will profit $13.
