🏒 NHL Player Props Today: Best Bets & Prop Picks for Tuesday, March 31
I'm pulling out the high-powered arsenal for my NHL player props, featuring Jack Hughes, Connor McDavid, Nikita Kucherov, and Sidney Crosby.
Three of the four picks are of the 5-star variety. Only the Kucherov play isn't, which is a testament to how well the Montreal Canadiens are playing entering the pivotal Atlantic Division battle.

Jack Hughes Over 1.5 points (+125) at Rangers
Hughes is playing like the New Jersey Devils still have a shot at the playoffs, with multi-point encounters in six of the previous nine.
He has eight points in the last three games and absolutely dominates the Blueshirts every time he faces them, with 15 points in the previous five meetings.
Combine those ridiculous returns with the fact that the Rangers checked out a long time ago and wouldn't mind losing a few more games for a better chance at a top draft pick.
Feels like a perfect storm brewing in the Big Apple.

Connor McDavid anytime goal (+100) vs. Kraken
It's the time of year when No. 97 raises his level, which doesn't seem possible for mere mortals. McDavid enters tonight's contest on a four-game goal-scoring streak, netting five.
His stats recently against the Seattle Kraken would be gobsmacking for most players, as he has five goals in the last four meetings, including a hat trick when their Pacific Division rivals last visited Rogers Place.
The Oilers scored 13 in the last three games, while Seattle is trending in the opposite direction, conceding at least five goals in three of the last six.
Nikita Kucherov anytime goal (+140) vs. Canadiens
The only thing preventing this from being a 5-star pick is how well Jakub Dobes and the Canadiens defense are playing.
While Kucherov hasn't netted in three games, the cure for that mini-drought is a dose of the Canadiens, against whom he has scored in five straight.
That includes a pair the last time the Canadiens visited Benchmark International Arena. For my money, Kucherov is the best bet to win MVP, and his Hart Trophy odds are finally representing that notion.
Sidney Crosby Over 0.5 assists (+125) vs. Red Wings
Seeing Crosby play so well since returning from injury is about as surprising as seeing the Toronto Maple Leafs seek retribution on Radko Gudas.
Crosby has at least one assist in five of six games since returning, and he notched two against the New York Islanders on Monday.
No. 87 is also dominant against the Red Wings, against whom he has at least one assist in nine straight. The Pens put eight past the Isles, which should bode well against a Red Wings team that hasn't been at its best.

💡 How I'm betting NHL player props today
Follow all of our NHL analysis and expert predictions this season.
The only matchup I don't love is Kucherov against the Habs. That's because of Montreal's exquisite recent defensive work. That said, Kucherov is due, and he usually roasts the Habs.
Hughes is a man possessed, and McDavid knows what's at stake as the Oilers try to reel in the Ducks atop the Pacific. And then there's Crosby, who was superb on Monday against the Islanders.
I was close to having an excellent day on Monday, but Nazem Kadri and John Carlson decided to score rather than set up teammates. I'm not too disappointed, though, as both players enjoyed superb outings.
I'm so confident in these bets that I'm devoting a full unit ($10) to each.
