Cutter Gauthier Over 3.5 shots (+105) vs. Sabres
Gauthier hit the Over on this total in five of the previous six home games, averaging five per game in that sample size.
His volume of shot attempts in that timeframe is even more impressive, with Gauthier attempting 50. So, in the last six games at Honda Center, he has fired an 8.3 shots toward the goal per outing.
It's the primary reason he's one of the NHL's hottest goal-scorers, and while he hasn't been as productive on the road lately, I love tonight's home matchup against a Buffalo Sabres team that played in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Sebastian Aho Over 0.5 assists (-105) at Penguins
Aho notched two helpers in Toronto on Friday, cashing my bet on the Hurricanes' best setup man. I'm going straight back to him as the Penguins were forced to go the distance against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
He's also only four days removed from registering an assist against the Penguins and is tied for the third-most since March 4. The Hurricanes have netted 10 in the last two contests, while the Pens allowed 10.

Filip Forsberg Over 0.5 assists (+130) at Blackhawks
Forsberg is on a mini-heater, and I'm striking while the coals are sizzling. He has four assists in the last three games entering tonight's outing in the Windy City, and the Predators have won each of those games.
Forsberg and the Predators will also be highly motivated, as they currently hold the final wild-card spot. That combination of factors should be the catalyst for another helper from a player better known for his goal-scoring exploits.

I'm backing Forsberg to notch a helper, but his goal-scorer prop is as enticing. The sniper has been playing his best hockey lately, reinforced by his two goals in the last three games.

Matthew Schaefer Over 2.5 shots (-130) vs. Blue Jackets
The runaway Calder Trophy odds favorite will be named rookie of the year, and now it's time to see if he can get the New York Islanders into the playoffs. In the short term, I'd like to see him hit the Over on this total for the seventh time in an eight-game span and fourth in a row.
In the last 12 contests, Shaefer hit the Over 10 times. He played on Saturday in Montreal, and the Blue Jackets had the day off. That won't matter for the 18-year-old prodigy, though. He'll be amped to make up for the team's embarrassing 7-3 loss to the Canadiens.

My player props are 5-for-9 since focusing more on assist, point, and shot props. I haven't fully abandoned goal-scorer props, but will use them more selectively after a recent dry patch with those bet types.
I'm confident in all of the props for Sunday, but I feel the best about Gauthier amassing at least four shots against a fatigued Sabres team at home, where he has been notably more productive recently.
