Two of the top quarterbacks in the AFC West face off during prime time. Find out which bets we like with our Wilson vs. Herbert Monday Night Football Prop Picks.
The top spot in the AFC West is still in play thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs falling to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. That makes Monday night’s game between the 2-3 Denver Broncos and the 3-2 Los Angeles Chargers all the more important.
Russell Wilson and the Broncos are playing a second straight game in prime time after an embarrassing outing during Thursday Night Football in Week 5. Meanwhile, Herbert and the Chargers snuck past the Cleveland Browns last week with a lot of help from Austin Ekeler and the team's rushing attack. Now the two clubs meet with a chance to rise in the division.
Here are our top Wilson vs. Herbert prop picks (odds via BetMGM, and FanDuel, Caesars, and DraftKings sportsbooks).
Wilson vs. Herbert Prop Picks

Wilson vs. Herbert Prop Predictions
Wilson Over 19.5 Completions (-105)
Wilson has attempted 170 passes over his first four games, and he's putting the ball in the air an average of 34 times per contest. The Over on this prop has hit in three of five games in 2022.
The veteran's lowest output toward this prop came in Week 4 when he attempted 25 passes against the Las Vegas Raiders. He logged 35 pass attempts during the most recent of his two career meetings with the Chargers.
Los Angeles has needed to defend an average of 36 throws over its five contests in 2022. Every quarterback the Chargers have faced has attempted at least 34 passes.

Wilson's longest completion Over 37.5 (-114)
Despite his overall lack of production, Wilson has been able to connect on a completion of at least 38 yards in three of his first five games. He wasn't too far away from this mark during the two games when the nine-time Pro Bowler failed to reach this goal. Wilson hit Courtland Sutton for a 35-yarder in Week 2 against the Houston Texans. He then found Sutton for a 34-yard completion against the San Francisco 49ers the following week.
An opposing pass-catcher has logged a reception of at least 38 yards in four of the Chargers' five games in 2022, including Browns tight end David Njoku in Week 5.
Herbert Over 9.5 rushing yards (-119)
The Over finally hit on this prop for the first time in 2022 during Week 5 when Herbert rushed for 13 yards against the Browns. The slow start is surprising after the young quarterback rushed for 10-plus yards in 11 games during the 2022 season. He recorded 36 yards on four carries during his first meeting with Denver in 2021, averaging nine yards per attempt.
Three quarterbacks have exceeded this total against the Broncos in 2022, including Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr registering a 40-yard rushing performance in Week 4.
Herbert Over 278.5 passing and rushing yards (-115)
Herbert has failed to surpass this total just once in 2022 (Week 5). The passer has logged the league’s fourth-best passing and rushing yards average (299). The Over here has cashed in three of his four career games against the Broncos.
Denver's defense is the best in the league while allowing just 176 passing yards per game. However, the unit allowed Carson Wentz to throw for 251 yards during a lackluster Thursday night showing in Week 5.
