↕️ Week 4 biggest line movement
The line movements for Week 4, based on last week's action and injuries, have been some of the smallest we've seen all season. But we have a few reactionary line movements to work with, as seen below:
- The Cardinals dropped from a 2.5-point betting favorite to just 1 point following the loss of running back James Conner for the season, and the Seahawks' commanding victory over the Saints
- The Steelers moved from -1.5 to +2.5 points against the Vikings, the biggest move of the week, following a strong defensive performance and potential returns to the offensive line (LT Justin Skule, C Ryan Kelly)
- The Lions dipped -10 to -8.5, and the total from 47 to 45.5, against the Browns despite a big MNF win - the moves follow the Browns stifling the Packers for the season's biggest upset to date
- The Bills moved from -14.5 to -16.5 against the Saints, the biggest spread of the week, following another dominant Week 3 performance coupled with the Saints looking like the Saints
- The Rams moved from -5 to -3.5 following another strong showing from the Colts, while the total grew from 46.5 to 49
- The Packers moved from -4.5 to -7 against the Cowboys despite a shocking loss to the Browns, a reflection of the Cowboys play and the loss of WR CeeDee Lamb

🔢 NFL Week 4 odds and lines
There's an advantage to betting early NFL odds when attempting to beat the closing line. The closer you wait until kickoff to make your NFL picks, the harder it becomes to identify edges and secure the best price on most sides or totals.
❓NFL odds FAQs
Who's playing on prime time in Week 4?
The Seahawks visit the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football, while the Cowboys host the Packers on Sunday Night Football. Additionally, we have two Monday Night Football games: the Jets at the Dolphins and the Bengals at the Broncos. We also have an International Series game, with the Vikings and Steelers clashing in Dublin on Sunday morning.
How do NFL spread odds work?
When betting on the NFL, the favorite needs to win by a certain number of points to cover the "point spread" - also known as the betting line. Conversely, the underdog needs to lose by fewer than the points displayed in the spread or win outright to cash. For example, a 3-point favorite would need to win by more than a field goal to reward bettors.
How do NFL moneyline odds work?
When betting on the NFL, the underdog will have the "longer" odds and is typically priced at "plus-money" odds that indicate the profit on a $100 bet. For example, a team with +150 odds would turn a $100 bet into a $150 profit - or a $10 bet into a $15 profit - according to our odds converter.
