The NFL Wild Card Weekend finale kicks off tonight (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN) between the betting favorite Houston Texans (12-5) and host Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7), and my Texans vs. Steelers prediction backs one of the league's hottest teams to steal a road victory at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

I expect a red-hot Houston team to show why it ran the table in the second half of the season with nine straight wins entering this final matchup in the Wild Card Round. I'm also breaking down my projection on the total and my favorite anytime touchdown pick as part of our NFL playoff predictions for the first round.

💰 Texans vs. Steelers best bet: Texans -3 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Texans defense is just outright incredible. I have no idea how these Steelers are going to move the ball against the top-rated unit. Aaron Rodgers will have to get it out early in almost every pass play, as this pass rush is ranked No. 1 in football. Expect Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter to have a huge game here, and for C.J. Stroud to do enough on offense to cover.

Score prediction: Texans 21, Steelers 10

🙌 Best Texans vs. Steelers touchdown scorer prediction: Woody Marks (+195) ⭐⭐⭐

Woody hasn't scored in seven weeks, but the volume is absolutely there for the running back, who's averaging 15 carries over his last two games. When you see that type of volume, coupled with close to +200 betting odds, I'll absolutely sprinkle a .5u on this play. In a game where the Texans will be fighting for points, expect Houston to take the sure thing if they find themselves inside the 5-yard line.

Our Gary Pearson targets a couple of Houston wideouts instead in his Texans vs. Steelers anytime touchdown scorer predictions, while Corey Scott has two Steelers in his first touchdown scorer predictions for Texans vs. Steelers.
