My Texans vs. Chiefs same-game parlay for Sunday Night Football sees trouble on the horizon for Kansas City. Our SNF parlay expects Houston to find an advantage in the trenches due to injuries across the Chiefs' offensive line.
The action for Texans vs. Chiefs kicks off from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium tonight at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock). The Chiefs are a 3.5-point betting favorite as part of our NFL predictions for Week 14.

Texans +3.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’m fading a strong season-long trend with this pick, as Kansas City is 4-1-1 ATS at Arrowhead this season. But the timing of this matchup with the lethal Houston pass rush is a nightmare for the Chiefs considering their injuries across the offensive line.
Josh Simmons is on injured reserve, while Jawaan Taylor and Trey Smith are doubtful after missing practice Friday. The defense that sacked Josh Allen eight times will give Patrick Mahomes fits behind a reshuffled line. Houston has remained within this margin in its last six games.
I'm not the only one of our experts backing the Texans' defense tonight, with Philip Wood taking the Under on two Chiefs players in his Texans vs. Chiefs player props.
Under 41.5 (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Since I’m skeptical of Kansas City’s offense against the league’s top scoring defense (Houston allows just 16.5 PPG), I like the Under to correlate with the Texans keeping this matchup close.
Houston games are 3-8-1 on Overs this season, with eight of their 12 games finishing with fewer than 41.5 total points. Kansas City's seventh-ranked scoring defense (19.3 PPG) should also contribute to this game going Under.
Our Mike Spector also expects a low-scoring contest in his Texans vs. Chiefs prediction.

Patrick Mahomes Over 23.5 rushing yards (-108) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Though Houston has the fourth-ranked run defense in the NFL (91.7 yards per game allowed), they’ve allowed, relatively, a more generous 211 rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks (16th in the NFL).
We’re looking for Patrick Mahomes to play some hero ball, running for his life to mitigate the deficiencies of his O-line. Four of Houston’s last six opponents have seen their quarterback exceed 22.5 rushing yards, and Mahomes has cleared this line in eight of 12 games on the season.
Our Esten McLaren is targeting Mahomes to find the end zone using his legs in his Texans vs. Chiefs anytime touchdown scorer predictions, while Corey Scott likes his chances to open the scoring in his Texans vs. Chiefs first touchdown scorer predictions.
