From the coin toss to the Gatorade bath and Cardi B sightings, there's a seemingly endless platter of options for your 2026 Super Bowl novelty prop bets.

I'm focusing on the main markets while making Super Bowl predictions, with some weirdness tossed in for good measure. The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots are set to clash Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET from Levi's Stadium.

🏈 Super Bowl 2026 novelty prop bets

The vast ocean of Super Bowl novelty prop bets will continue expanding right up until kickoff. It runs so deep that the halftime show featuring Bad Bunny is a beast unto itself, one we tackled with our Super Bowl halftime show prop predictions and the definitive Bad Bunny halftime show set list.

With kickoff drawing near, never forget that novelty props often drive the most attention, largely due to a more casual football audience. The most significant example takes place before the game begins, with BetMGM noting the Super Bowl coin toss is receiving more bets than any player prop, and it's that book's eighth most-active market overall tied to the game, according to ESPN.

Many of the novelty prop markets are left to pure chance, with the coin flip the prime example. So approach your betting here accordingly, with a recreational wager for entertainment.

🪣 Gatorade color prediction

A potentially profitable act of dousing is often rooted in team history. Is there a known color that a team has used before or prefers?

Surely when a team changes its coaching staff and undergoes general upheaval, the Gatorade color is a top concern. Both of these teams have won the Super Bowl in the relatively recent past, but it's difficult to gauge how much their color choices at the time mean here. For the record though, the Patriots went with blue after Super Bowl 53, and the Seahawks used orange following Super Bowl 48.

The latter history is perhaps why orange is the narrow leader in the Super Bowl Gatorade color guide, as the Seahawks enter as the -4.5 betting odds favorite.

What color of Gatorade will be poured on the Super Bowl winning head coach?

We went into more detail while looking at How to bet the Super Bowl Gatorade color odds.

Color Odds
Orange +260
Yellow/lime or green +270
Blue +290
Purple +600
Red/pink +850
Water/clear +900

Prediction: Purple Gatorade has been tossed to end two of the last three Super Bowls, but those instances both involved the Kansas City Chiefs. Stick with orange due to the Seahawks being the favorites, and hope there's lingering influence from years ago on the team's sideline staff.

🪙 Coin flip prediction

Yes, it's a coin spinning through the air, leaving us at the mercy of gravity, the skill of the coin tosser, and sheer randomness.

But Super Bowl coin toss predictions remain a fun way to log an early win ahead of The Big Game kicking off. The main market here is whether it comes up heads or tails, but there are lots of spinoffs. That includes what team wins the toss, and whether the squad that wins the flip emerges victorious

Will the Super Bowl coin toss come up heads or tails?

For further guidance, we laid out how to bet the Super Bowl coin toss.

Result Odds
Heads -104
Tails -104

Prediction: Stick with heads while wagering on a literal coin flip and therefore getting coin flip odds. Heads has been on a bit of a run lately while coming up prior to three of the last five Super Bowls.

⏱️ National anthem length

There's some division when we assess Charlie Puth while making 2026 Super Bowl national anthem predictions. And it's difficult to find a case study and lean on one of his past performances because he hasn't done the national anthem before.

So we're left with the vocal stylings of his music when trying to predict the primary Super Bowl national anthem prop, which is whether he'll go Over or Under the set time. And although he can be very intricate, we often see slow pacing from Puth. That's in line with comments he made to ABC about "putting a little jazz into it" and potentially getting creative while signing the anthem.

Will the Super Bowl national anthem go Over or Under?

How long is the national anthem? We dove into the recent trends.

Length Odds
Over 119.5 seconds -110
Under 119.5 seconds -110

Prediction: He might not sail past it, but Puth will continue a trend that's seen the Over hit during six of the past seven Super Bowls.

🌡️ Temperature at kickoff from Levi's Stadium

There are plenty of Levi's Stadium trends for Super Bowl 2026 to consider heading into this clash, somehow including electromagnetic energy.

However, the weather shouldn't play a significant role. The forecast does call for a slight chance of rain, and even a little bit could impact Drake Maye, who has been struggling with turnovers this postseason. But winds are expected to be light, with mild temperatures at kickoff and throughout.

What will the temperature in Santa Clara be at kickoff?

Our 2026 Super Bowl weather report provides a deeper breakdown of the expected conditions.

Temperature Odds
41 or lower +1600
43-50 +1100
52-59 +125
60-68 -105
69-77 +410
78 or higher +1900

Prediction: We can lock in the forecast more the closer we get to gameday, and it's calling for 58 degrees at kickoff. That leads to a key opportunity to cash in on the +125 betting odds.

🏆 Super Bowl MVP postgame speech

The outcome here largely hinges on what team prevails, and who's deemed the hero who pushed his squad to victory.

Much like the overall NFL MVP odds from this past season, this is a quarterback-dominated award. As we await the kickoff of Super Bowl 60, a passer has been named the MVP in 34 of the previous championship tilts, with wide receiver a distant second at eight.

However, standout Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains a highly appealing long shot, and he was featured in our 10 Super Bowl bets to make right now.

Who will the Super Bowl MVP thank first?

Our Super Bowl MVP odds analyze who's most likely to take the honor.

Figure Odds
God/religious figure -230
Teammates +210
Family +1260
Coach +1300
Fans +1800
Team organization +2500

Prediction: Though it would be far more profitable for many if another position won, it's likely either Sam Darnold or Drake Maye will be standing atop the podium. If, like me, you believe the Seahawks rise up largely due to their ferocious defense, that leaves Darnold thanking his teammates.

Bringing up his teammates unprompted has been his instinct often, and as recently as after the NFC Championship Game.

🔍 Cardi B sightings

Every Super Bowl is overflowing with celebrities. But there's annually one such notable figure who's under the spotlight even more due to a narrative connection.

Often that's a relationship with a player. In the recent past it's been Taylor Swift due to the Travis Kelce of it all. Now it's Cardi B and Stefon Diggs.

There's typically a prop tied to whatever celebrity is set to draw even more attention than most. It's usually an Over/Under on how many times they'll be shown on camera.

The instinct is to smash the Over on 1.5. But this is one of many times when it's key to read the market terms. It'll feel like you see Cardi B 18 times throughout Sunday, especially if the Patriots win. But FanDuel is concerned only with how many times she's on camera during the game broadcast itself. Not before, or afterward, or during halftime. Only when actual football is happening.

Our Andrew Reid looked at other celebrities we might see at the Super Bowl.

How many times will Cardi B appear on the broadcast?

Looking for more novelty prop tips? I also broke down how to bet Super Bowl novelty props.

Appearances Odds
Over 1.5 -110
Under 1.5 -110

Prediction: The broadcast knows what you expect, and often hedges against it. It's also unlikely Diggs makes many splash plays against an intimidating Seahawks defense, leaving the camera operators little reason for reaction shots. Take the Under.
