I'm offering my best Steelers vs. Patriots player props for today's 1 p.m. ET (CBS) game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The Steelers are favored by 1.5 or 2 points, but my best NFL picks for this game include a lot of success for the Patriots’ passing attack.
In addition to high expectations for Hunter Henry and Drake Maye, I anticipate Jaylen Warren struggling for the third time this season. Be sure to check out all of our NFL predictions for Week 3.

💰 Best Steelers vs. Patriots player prop bets
Our NFL player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬆️ Hunter Henry Over 3.5 receptions (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Henry had just one catch for nine yards last week, but he had four for 66 in Week 1. This week, he faces a Steelers’ defense that has allowed 12 receptions on 15 targets to tight ends this season.
While Henry is just fifth on the Patriots in receptions, he does have the second-most targets on the team. With 11, he’s just one behind Stefon Diggs. I anticipate more meaningful targets this week against a defense that has given up nearly one-third of its 38 allowed completions to tight ends this season.
The price of -110 at BetMGM suggests a 52.38% that Henry catches at least four passes. It’s easy to see the value in this play when you compare the price to the -136 (57.63% chance) that DraftKings is offering for the Over. A $10 bet at BetMGM would pay $9.09.
⬇️ Jaylen Warren Under 54.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though he’s averaging 4.7 yards per carry throughout his career, Warren is only averaging 3.4 yards per carry this season. Through two games, he’s yet to have a run longer than nine yards, and his season-high is just 48 yards.
The Patriots have allowed just 117 rush yards and 3.0 yards per carry through two games. And it’s not like they’ve shut down lesser running backs. They held Ashton Jeanty to just 2.0 yards per carry and De’Von Achane to 2.7.
Though the highest total available is 55.5 yards at DraftKings, the price is -115 for the Under. This is the most confident I am in any Patriots vs. Steelers player props, so I’ll take Under 54.5 for -110 at BetMGM. The price implies a 52.38% chance Warren rushes for less than this total. A $10 bet would pay $9.09.
⬆️ Drake Maye Over 221.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Maye has thrown for at least 230 yards in both games this season, and now he gets to face a defense that has allowed 513 passing yards through two games. Last week, the Steelers allowed 295 yards to Sam Darnold, but more alarming is the fact that they allowed 218 on 16 completions to Justin Fields in Week 1. Fields was just 3-of-11 for 27 yards against the Bills before suffering an injury in Week 2.
I anticipate a high-scoring game, as the Steelers are allowing the fourth-most points per contest, and the Patriots are allowing 23.5. That should mean opportunities for Maye, who hasn’t needed many to succeed. Last week, he only attempted 23 passes, but he completed 19 of them, averaging 10 yards per attempt.
The price of -114 at FanDuel implies a 53..27% chance this Over hits. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.

How do NFL player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
