The Arizona Cardinals have been one of the more disappointing offenses in the NFL this season, but will their recent strides defensively cause problems for Andy Dalton and the visiting New Orleans Saints? Here are our Week 7 Saints-Cardinals same-game parlay picks for Thursday Night Football.
Supposed offensive guru Kliff Kingsbury has some explaining to do when his Cardinals are one of the more profitable teams for Under bettors this NFL season. In an atrophied Saints offense, can Alvin Kamara emerge to inject some life into Thursday Night Football?
Check out our Saints-Cardinals picks, Thursday Night Football props, as well as our DeAndre Hopkins prop picks and Kyler Murray prop picks.
Here are my same-game parlay picks for the Week 7 Thursday night matchup between the Saints and Cardinals (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Same-Game Parlay Predictions for Saints vs. Cardinals
Under 43.5 (+100)
The Saints have not been friendly to Under bettors this season, with four of their six games hitting the Over; however, their Thursday night opponent is another story entirely. The stagnating Arizona offense has been providing refuge for the Under all year. Cardinals games are just 1-4-1 on Overs through six weeks.
With Arizona favored by 2.5 points for Thursday Night Football, the Cardinals’ team total checks in at 22.5 at FanDuel and 23.5 at DraftKings. That Under could be one way to go, as the Cardinals finished below this line in four of their six games. But given the recent trends for the Arizona defense and attrition for the Saints on offense, the game total Under should be attackable, as well as being the more profitable play.
The Saints scored above their 20.5 team total in four of six games, but the Cardinals haven’t allowed a team to eclipse that scoring mark in any of their last four games. They’ve figured things out defensively, but maintain an offense that can’t take advantage of QB Kyler Murray’s explosiveness. Though wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will return from his suspension Thursday night, the Cardinals are down receiver Marquise Brown. I don’t see either offense figuring things out in primetime.
Kamara Over 29.5 receiving yards (-160)
Saints running back Alvin Kamara’s skills as a receiver out of the backfield could be in high demand on Thursday night due to attrition at the offensive skill positions. Receivers Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry will miss the game due to injuries. That would leave probable starting quarterback Andy Dalton searching for viable receiving options against the Cardinals.
Kamara hauled in six passes in each of his last two games. This past week against the Cincinnati Bengals, AK41 was bottled up for just 25 receiving yards, but the pass game usage was there, as he drew nine targets.
The Cardinals do a nice job of containing the running lanes, but they rank 20th in the NFL in pass defense. Arizona permits an average of 233.5 passing yards per game. Kamara has cleared this receiving line only once in four games played this season, but his involvement as a pass-catcher should be as necessary as ever Thursday.
Kamara anytime touchdown scorer (+110)
Despite his Saints being 2.5-point underdogs for the game, it’s Kamara that's listed as DraftKings Sportsbook's most likely touchdown scorer according to the odds. Dalton threw just one passing touchdown in each of the past three weeks as the Saints starting quarterback. Against a defense that has allowed six rushing touchdowns this season, could Kamara’s first score of 2022 be in the offering?
Saints utility knife Taysom Hill vultured some touchdowns recently, but given we’re already buying into Kamara’s involvement in the receiving game, he feels like an obvious goal-line weapon in a limited Saints offense.
Combining the notion of his success with an Under wager is a contrarian play that juices up our parlay to +780 via FanDuel Sportsbook. But that’s with a receiving yardage mark of 35.5 for Kamara. DraftKings offers a better line on the Under 43.5, which helps our parlay get to +750 when using 29.5 as the yardage mark for Kamara. We’re choosing the slightly lower combined odds at DraftKings in order to benefit from the more attainable receiving line.
