⚖️ Rams vs. Seahawks betting splits
Latest data via BetMGM ahead of Thursday Night Football tonight.
| Team (odds) | Spread bets | Moneyline bets |
|---|---|---|
| Rams (+1.5 / +105) | 64% tickets, 59% handle | 67% tickets, 57% handle |
| Seahawks (-1.5 / -125) | 36% tickets, 41% handle | 33% tickets, 43% handle |
The Seahawks opened as 1.5-point underdogs for Thursday Night Football, but they've seen the line flip in their favor ahead of kickoff tonight - even with the Rams seeing the majority of tickets and overall betting handle in their favor.
Keep an eye on the difference between those two amounts. With more overall tickets on the Rams than money wagered, that suggests the average bet size is higher for Seattle, which could be a signal for sharp activity on the 'Hawks. Whenever you see a side drawing more overall money despite the line moving against them, that's also a sign that oddsmakers are hedging against sharp activity on the side with the line movement.

| 🐏 Terrance Ferguson, TE, Rams | Over 19.5 receiving yards (-115) | $8.70 |
| 🟢 Rashid Shaheed, WR, Seahawks | Over 35.5 receiving yards (-115) | $8.70 |

Bettors are all over the tight end position tonight with three of the five most popular prop bets for Thursday Night Football backing a tight end to finish Over their receiving yards or receptions prop. Of those three bets, I'm most intrigued by the line for Terrance Ferguson, who has seen his snap share increase dramatically in recent weeks despite recording just one catch for six yards over his last five games.
Our NFL expert Dustin Saracini has his sights set on three different star players for this matchup tonight with his best Rams vs. Seahawks player props, including a three-unit play at five stars fading one of the Seahawks' best offensive weapons.
Saracini also breaks down the best bets for both quarterbacks with his Matthew Stafford player props for the Rams' MVP favorite and his Sam Darnold player props for the Seahawks passer.

| Player | Prop bet (odds) | Profit ($10 bet) |
|---|---|---|
| 🐏 Colby Parkinson, TE, Rams | To score anytime TD (+240) | $24 |
| 🐏 Konata Mumpfield, WR, Rams | To score anytime TD (+475) | $47.50 |
| 🐏 Kyren Williams, RB, Rams | To score anytime TD (+120) | $12 |
| 🟢 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks | To score anytime TD (+100) | $10 |
| 🐏 Puka Nacua, WR, Rams | To score anytime TD (+110) | $11 |
Three of the most-bet players to score a touchdown tonight on Thursday Night Football are usual suspects: Kyren Williams is tied for fifth leaguewide in rushing touchdowns (10), while Jaxon Smith-Njigba (9) and Puka Nacua (6) both rank in the top 15 among all wide receivers in trips to the end zone.
It's a bit more surprising to see Colby Parkinson and Konata Mumpfield, who could both be in line for more receiving work tonight with Davante Adams unlikely to play as he recovers from a hamstring injury suffered last week. That makes Mumpfield - who has played nearly half his team's snaps in consecutive weeks - an intriguing long shot in this market, though Williams feels like the best value to scoop up Adams' red-zone work.
Our NFL expert Esten McLaren is also expecting Adams' injury to open up opportunities for some of the Rams' secondary stars, as he outlines in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Thursday Night Football.

| Player | Prop bet (odds) | Profit ($10 bet) |
|---|---|---|
| 🐏 Kyren Williams, RB, Rams | To score first TD (+600) | $60 |
| 🟢 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks | To score first TD (+600) | $60 |
| 🐏 Colby Parkinson, TE, Rams | To score first TD (+1200) | $120 |
| 🐏 Puka Nacua, WR, Rams | To score first TD (+550) | $55 |
| 🟢 Sam Darnold, QB, Seahawks | To score first TD (+6600) | $660 |
Most of the popular bets to score the first touchdown on Monday Night Football are among those most-bet players to score an anytime touchdown, as well. But this market is especially favorable to Williams, who scored the Rams' first touchdown last week and leads the NFL with eight rushing touchdowns inside the 5-yard line.
The most intriguing bet on the board is Darnold to score the opening touchdown at 66/1 odds, which would turn a $10 bet into a $660 profit. The Seahawks QB doesn't have any rushing touchdowns this season, but he has a combined seven rushing attempts over the last two weeks and has 14 rushing touchdowns in 97 career games.
