Evan Engram has just one touchdown on the season but is tied with RJ Harvey for the third-most red-zone targets on the team (four).

While he has yet to cash as a first touchdown scorer this season, he shouldn’t have the fifth-shortest odds on the Broncos at +1400. He should have the same odds as Harvey, who is available at +1100 at some of the best sports betting sites. This number seems to be an overreaction to Engram not yet cashing as a first touchdown scorer this season, but we don’t get stuck in the past - we’re taking the value and getting ahead of the market.

Bet365 lists Engram at +1400 to score first, an implied probability of 6.67%. A winning $10 bet would profit $140.

Brock Bowers is coming off a three-touchdown performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, when he also cashed as the first touchdown scorer.

The second-year tight end leads the Raiders with eight red-zone targets and is being somewhat undervalued by the market since he has found the end zone in only one game this season. His 13 targets in Week 9, however, suggest he’ll be more involved in the offense moving forward. This line is listed at +900 on some of the best sports betting apps, so there’s definite value in Bowers’ +1100 odds at DraftKings.

These odds carry an implied probability of 8.33%, and a winning $10 bet would profit $110.

🔥 Tyler Lockett TD pick: To score first TD (+5000) ⭐⭐⭐

In his second game with the Raiders, Tyler Lockett is my best long shot to score first on Thursday Night Football.

Lockett has yet to score a touchdown - despite recording five or more in six of the last seven seasons - but that’s more a reflection of the Tennessee Titans’ quarterback play than his own talent (he was released by Tennessee on Oct. 20). While he was targeted only once in his first game as a Raider in Week 9, it’s reasonable to assume Pete Carroll, who was Lockett’s head coach with the Seattle Seahawks from 2015-23, will push to get him more involved in the offense after signing him. 

Lockett's +5000 odds at DraftKings are the best available and carry an implied probability of 1.96%. A winning $10 bet would profit $500.
