π° NFL odds & expert picks: Week 2
Live odds from our best NFL betting sites; updated in real time.
π Commanders vs. Packers odds
- Date: Thursday, Sept. 11
- Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Location: Lambeau Field (Green Bay, Wis.)
- How to watch: Prime Video
- Early pick: Packers -3.5 made by Gary Pearson
The Packers opened as a 3.5-point betting favorite over the Commanders after these teams began the year with impressive Week 1 wins over division rivals. I'm inclined to back the Pack as short favorites after how balanced this team looked in Micah Parsons' debut last week - especially if he's healthy enough to play more than 50% of the snaps in Week 2.
π Rams vs. Titans odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Nissan Stadium (Nashville, Tenn.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Titans +5.5 (-110 via ESPN BET)
The Rams opened as a 5.5-point betting favorite over the Titans after surviving last week's tilt with the Texans. As much as I love Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay on one side, this feels like a lot of points at home for a team that looked scrappy in Cam Ward's debut against an elite Denver defense.
π Seahawks vs. Steelers odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh, Pa.)
- How to watch: FOX
- Early pick: Seahawks +3 (-115 via DraftKings)
The Steelers opened as a 3-point betting favorite over the Seahawks after a thrilling win over the Jets in Week 1. This feels like the quintessential fade opportunity for Aaron Rodgers and Co. against a tough Seattle defense that should cause more issues for the 41-year-old quarterback next week.
π Bills vs. Jets odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, N.J.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Jets +7.5 (-110 via DraftKings)
The Bills opened as a 7.5-point betting favorite over the Jets after that dramatic comeback win to beat the Ravens in Week 1. It's easy to buy into Buffalo at whatever price, but I'm taking the points on a New York team that showed some real promise in that seesaw affair with the Steelers.
π Bears vs. Lions odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Ford Field (Detroit, Mich.)
- How to watch: FOX
- Early pick: Lions -4.5 (-105 via FanDuel)
The Lions opened as a 4.5-point betting favorite over the Bears after losing in rather humbling fashion to the Packers in Week 1. I'm not convinced that this is rock bottom for Detroit, but I do expect a bounce-back performance next week in former coordinator Ben Johnson's return to Ford Field.
π Giants vs. Cowboys odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
- How to watch: FOX
- Early pick: Giants +5.5 (-110 via Caesars)
The Cowboys opened as a 5.5-point betting favorite over the Giants in an NFC East clash between two teams coming off Week 1 losses. I was more encouraged last week by what I saw from the Giants, whose offense faces real concerns but features a menacing defense that should keep this game close.
π Browns vs. Ravens odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore, Md.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Ravens -11.5 (-110 via FanDuel)
The Ravens opened as an 11.5-point betting favorite over the Browns after both teams dropped their openers by exactly one point. It's hard to trust that Baltimore won't blow a big lead late, but there's a clear gap between these two teams on paper - and the Ravens should be hungry after blowing Week 1.
π 49ers vs. Saints odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, La.)
- How to watch: FOX
- Early pick: Saints +6.5 (-110 via FanDuel)
The 49ers opened as a 6.5-point betting favorite over the Saints following a Week 1 win over the Seahawks as a road favorite. I don't necessarily expect a repeat performance this week against New Orleans, which had the Cardinals on the ropes last week and faces an injury-riddled 49ers squad.
π Patriots vs. Dolphins odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Gardens, Fla.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Patriots +1.5 (-105 via DraftKings)
The Dolphins opened as a 1.5-point betting favorite over the Patriots after each team lost their Week 1 openers. I don't know how Miami could be favored over any team right now after a humiliating loss last week that felt like the beginning of the end for Mike McDaniel. I'll be fading the 'Fins until he's gone.
π Jaguars vs. Bengals odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 1 p.m. ET
- Location: Paycor Stadium (Cincinnati, Ohio)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Bengals -3.5 (-105 via bet365)
The Bengals opened as a 3.5-point betting favorite over the Jaguars following Week 1 wins for both teams - albeit in different manners. This spread feels too influenced by what we saw last week from these teams, even though Jacksonville faced a far easier test. Cincy deserves more respect at home.
π Panthers vs. Cardinals odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET
- Location: State Farm Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Cardinals -6.5 (-108 via DraftKings)
The Cardinals opened as a 6.5-point betting favorite over the Panthers after narrowly beating the Saints in a Week 1 thriller. I don't love laying this many points on a team that is questionably good, but the Panthers are unquestionably awful and can't be trusted to keep this game close.
π Broncos vs. Colts odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET
- Location: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Ind.)
- How to watch: CBS
- Early pick: Broncos -2.5 (-110 via Caesars)
The Broncos opened as a 2.5-point betting favorite over the Colts after each team earned Week 1 wins over lowly opponents to begin the season. The only reason this spread is within a field goal is because Indy laid the smackdown on a lifeless Miami team. I'd expect major regression against Denver's elite D.
π Eagles vs. Chiefs odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Location: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City, Mo.)
- How to watch: FOX
- Early pick: Eagles -1 (-102 via BetMGM)
The Eagles opened as a 1-point betting favorite over the Chiefs in this Super Bowl rematch from Philadelphia's 40-22 win in February. Jalen Hurts continues to be the most disrespected QB in the league, and I don't see Kansas City stopping him and Saquon Barkley at once. Remember how that went last time?
π Falcons vs. Vikings odds
- Date: Sunday, Sept. 14
- Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. ET
- Location: U.S. Bank Stadium (Minneapolis, Minn.)
- How to watch: NBC
- Early pick: Under 45.5 prediction made by Mike Spector
"Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson turned in his second career game with 100-plus receiving yards last week. But he was stuffed in the run game, with none of his 12 carries going for more than six yards. That will put added pressure on Penix to move the ball through the air, which isnβt easy against a Brian Flores-led defense that can pin its ears back."
π Buccaneers vs. Texans odds
- Date: Monday, Sept. 15
- Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
- Location: NRG Stadium (Houston, Texas)
- How to watch: ABC/ESPN
- Early pick: Over 44.5 prediction made by Mike Spector
"I get the publicβs initial reaction to loving the Under for next week, especially after Houston committed two turnovers and punted twice on its four second-half possessions in Week 1. However, I am buying low on its offense, especially if it gets some key skill position players like Christian Kirk or Braxton Berrios back for next week."
π Chargers vs. Raiders odds
- Date: Monday, Sept. 15
- Kickoff: 10 p.m. ET
- Location: Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas, Nev.)
- How to watch: ESPN
- Early pick: Chargers -3 prediction made by Gary Pearson
"The Chargers were 7-2 ATS on the road last season, 6-1 ATS as the betting favorite on enemy territory, and 2-0 ATS against the Raiders. Admittedly, this Raiders team is substantially better than last season's. Still, the Chargers appear ready to take the next step, and they should bring the Raiders back down to earth in Week 2."
