The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots clash today in the AFC Championship Game, and my best Patriots vs. Broncos player props are expecting passing yards to be hard to come by. The Patriots are a 3.5-point betting favorite ahead of kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver at 3 p.m. ET (CBS).

Denver suddenly finds itself without quarterback Bo Nix, so my Conference Championship predictions are going to have to dig deep to find how that impacts the firepower in the freezing temperatures.

For as much as I like the Broncos to cover here, they're going to take a conservative approach in a do-or-die AFC Championship Game. I'd be surprised if Stidham drops back more than 20 times in this game. Expect a heavy dose of R.J. Harvey and J.K. Dobbins if he suits up (he's trending that way). Denver wins this game if Stidham limits his mistake and a heavy ground game will do just that. Our Sean Tomlinson also fades Stidham as part of his Patriots vs. Broncos same-game parlay.

Fade Maye, take him to go Under 223.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This script has treated us well all season, so there’s no need to reinvent the wheel now. Denver’s defense is absolutely stacked, and with Bo Nix on the shelf, it’s realistically the Broncos’ only path to a Super Bowl berth. They boast the NFL’s fourth-best scoring defense, and if New England finds itself protecting a second-half lead, expect a heavy helping of Rhamondre Stevenson to bleed the clock. Maye stayed under this number last week, and I’m betting we see a repeat performance here.

Actually, let's not stop there with the Maye props, we have a full slate of them here: Drake Maye player props.

Sutton shines, scores a touchdown (+270) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When a backup QB gets thrown into the deep end, he almost always leans on his safety blanket - and Sutton checks every box. He drew nine targets last week, and even though Bo Nix was the one pulling the trigger, Sean Payton’s trust in Jarrett Stidham is a big deal here, especially against a Patriots red-zone defense that sits 23rd in the league. Given that matchup, I’m more than OK tossing a half-unit sprinkle on this juiced line. I believe a big Sutton game will help Denver cover today in my Patriots vs. Broncos prediction.
