I make the best NFL moneyline picks for every game on Sunday and Monday. While five teams are getting moneylines of -250 or greater, there are eight contests that could truly go either way. Below, I dive into what will decide games between the 49ers and Giants, Texans and Broncos, and the Chiefs and Bills.

It's all part of our NFL picks and NFL predictions for Week 9.

💡 NFL expert picks for Week 9

💰 My best Week 9 moneyline picks

Track the latest NFL scores for line movement and matchup info.

⛏️ 49ers (-150) vs. Giants ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mac Jones is starting again on Sunday, and although he hasn’t been great in back-to-back weeks, it’s crazy to see the 49ers as only the 2.5-point favorites in this matchup. His last two performances came against top-four pass defenses. The Giants rank 24th.

While the 49ers are 22nd against the pass, Jaxson Dart has managed more than 202 yards just once in five starts. And without Cam Skattebo, the Giants will turn to Tyrone Tracy Jr., who hasn’t rushed for more than 46 yards in a game. I just don’t see how the Giants score against a defense allowing just 20.5 points per outing.

🐂 Texans (-125) vs. Broncos ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Texans are favored at home over a team that's multiple games above .500 for the second straight week. They boast the league's No. 1 defense that leads the NFL in yards allowed per game (266.9) and points allowed per outing (14.7).

The Broncos have scored 33-plus points in two straight weeks, but Bo Nix has been inconsistent while throwing for 206 yards or fewer in four of eight outings, and I expect him to struggle Sunday. The only reason this isn’t a five-star play is the Texans are averaging just 21.9 points per game, and the Broncos field the fifth-ranked defense in total yards allowed and points allowed per game.

🔴 Chiefs (-135) vs. Bills⭐⭐⭐

The Bills demolished the Panthers last week, but they struggled in their previous four games. They went 2-2 during that span, and their two wins were in close games entering the fourth quarter against a few of the NFL's worst teams.

The Chiefs field the league's third-best pass defense, which will allow them to keep Josh Allen in check. And while the Bills boast the league's second-best pass defense, they’re second-worst against the rush. Isiah Pacheco is out, but Kareem Hunt shouldn't struggle to fill in against a defense giving up 5.5 yards per carry.
