The Packers are itching to see the return of WR Jayden Reed, after he suffered a broken collarbone in Week 2. Below, we will deliver a Reed injury update and look at when Reed will be back in a Packers uniform. We will also take a look at Reed’s fantasy football stock, as well as Packers betting odds.

🏥 When will Jayden Reed return and be back with Packers?

The initial timeline that Reed was supposed to be out for was six to eight weeks. He has already been out for nine weeks and two days.

The good news is that Reed is now very close to returning.

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, wrote on Nov. 5 that the Packers have targeted either Week 13 against the Lions, or Week 14 against the Bears as the most likely return dates for Reed.

Here is a look at the Packers’ upcoming schedule.

  • Week 12 Sunday, Nov. 23: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
  • Week 13 Thursday, Nov. 27: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
  • Week 14 Sunday, Dec. 7: Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
  • Week 15 Sunday, Dec. 14: Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos

⏳ How long will Jayden Reed be out for?

If Reed returns on Thanksgiving Day against the Lions, he will have been out for exactly 11 weeks.

If the WR returns in Week 14 against the Bears, he will have been out for 12 weeks and three days.

On top of the collarbone injury, Reed also underwent surgery on his foot. The 25-year-old Michigan State product had been playing with a Jones fracture.

🏈 Jayden Reed fantasy football stock

Reed is still owned in 35 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues, though that number is down from early October - when he was owned in 43 percent of leagues.

The Packers WR had emerged as a top Jordan Love target out of the slot in the past two seasons. Reed should immediately become a focal point again in the Packers offense once he returns.

Green Bay wide receivers have not exactly lit it up this year, as Romeo Doubs is the team's leading receiver on the season with 446 yards. That ranks 44th in the NFL for most receiving yardage. Reed's return will undoubtedly boost the unit's production.

🧀 Packers betting odds

The Packers opened the season with +1200 Super Bowl odds. The best NFL betting sites currently show Green Bay with +1600 odds to raise the Lombardi in February 2026.

Matt LaFleur’s squad has a record of 5-3-1 on the season. Their win total is currently set at 10.5 victories with juice on the Under.
