Immediately after John Harbaugh was fired by the Ravens, his stock plummeted and is now at 16%.

While Harbaugh's career has been mostly on the defensive and special teams side of the ball, maybe that's exactly what this team needs. The Giants might look for an offensive mind who can lead their young and dynamic offense, captained by Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, so it makes perfect sense that rumors would be swirling around a Stefanski-Giants marriage.

Stefanski rose through the NFL coaching ladder on the offensive side of the ball, spending more than a decade with the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2019. He stepped into the interim offensive coordinator role in 2018 before taking over the job full-time in 2019, which ultimately paved the way for his first head-coaching opportunity with the Cleveland Browns in 2020. Stefanski ended his time with a 45-56 record, but it wasn't all doom and gloom for a coach who ultimately never had the roster or talent to win more than one playoff game during his tenure. Stefanski won two Coach of the Year awards in 2020 and 2023, and should ultimately land in New York when the dust settles.

He was the favorite until Harbaugh's name became available. He could take that spot again should Harbaugh sign elsewhere to decide on a year away.
