My Rams vs. Falcons first touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football are eyeing a juicy payday from each of the team’s two running backs, as well as a +2000 flier on a Los Angeles wide receiver as part of our NFL Week 17 predictions.

Los Angeles will either be the No. 5 seed (with two wins and a 49ers loss in Week 18) or the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoffs. While the Rams no longer being able to win the NFC West had some wondering if they would rest players as early as tonight, Los Angeles is still a solid 7.5-point betting favorite. The game kicks off from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN).

Blake Corum, RB, Rams (+1000) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Los Angeles has seemingly made a concerted effort to keep Kyren Williams fresh for the playoffs, as fellow running back Blake Corum has gotten more opportunities each week.

Corum’s 15 touches last week were his most this season, and he paid that volume off with his fifth touchdown in the last four games.

While last week’s touchdown came in the third quarter, Corum is set to eat early and often against a Falcons defense that ranks dead-last in yards per carry allowed to man concept runs, while Corum ranks third with the highest percentage of such runs.

Our Gary Pearson also has Corum finding the end zone as part of his Rams vs. Falcons prediction.

Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons (+550) ⭐⭐⭐

We are getting good value on one of the league’s top running backs to score the first touchdown, as his team is more than a touchdown underdog.

Robinson has 2,026 scrimmage yards with two games left to play this season. He is drawing nearer to becoming the sixth running back in NFL history to finish a season with 2,300-plus rushing and receiving yards

I love Robinson’s versatility as a pass-catcher in this matchup. He has seen 11 targets in each of the last two weeks, while Los Angeles has allowed the eighth-most receptions to running backs.

Our C Jackson Cowart anticipates a big night from Robinson as he offers three Overs in his Bijan Robinson player prop picks.

Konata Mumpfield, WR, Rams (+2000) ⭐⭐

Matthew Stafford’s 40 passing touchdowns were eight more than the next-closest quarterback entering the week, which means we would be wise to back a Rams pass-catcher to score the game’s first touchdown.

Wide receiver Puka Nacua has made history, becoming the second player all-time with three consecutive games totaling 165 or more receiving yards. But Konata Mumpfield was second on the team in targets last week (eight), including being targeted on 50% of his red-zone routes.

With Davante Adams again listed as doubtful, I am making another dart throw that his absence means big things for Mumpfield.

Our Esten McLaren backs Mumpfield alongside two more picks in his anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Monday Night Football.
