Best Falcons vs. Vikings Player Prop Bets for Sunday Night Football: SNF Odds & Picks

The second Sunday of the 2025 NFL season wraps up in Minneapolis, and I’ve got a trio of my best Falcons vs. Vikings player props for this Sunday Night Football clash at U.S. Bank Stadium (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).
Fresh off a season-opening victory at the Chicago Bears, the Vikings are a consensus 3.5-point betting favorite to take down the Falcons, who dropped their opener to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition to making my best SNF prop bets to add to my NFL picks, we’ve compiled dozens of NFL predictions for Week 2.
Be sure to dive into out our full breakdown of this NFC battle, including our Falcons vs. Vikings prediction.

⬆️ Michael Penix Jr. Over 33.5 pass attempts (-102) ⭐⭐⭐

If someone created a graph that tracked Falcons quarterback Michael Penix’s passing attempts since he became the starter, the line would be pointing due north. First start: 27 attempts. Second: 35. Third: 38. Fourth: 42 (last week against Tampa Bay).
That’s pretty clear evidence that Falcons coach Raheem Morris is loosening the leash on his 2024 first-round pick with each passing (no pun intended) game. There’s no reason to think Penix won’t continue to air things out Sunday night in Minnesota (where, by the way, Kirk Cousins threw the ball 37 times in his penultimate game as the Vikings’ starter back in Week 14 of last season).
You can get -102 odds on this prop at FanDuel. That pencils out to a 50.50% win probability, with a $10 stake potentially returning $9.80.
⬆️ Aaron Jones Over 9.5 rushing attempts (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Minnesota running back Aaron Jones is listed first on the depth chart, but the veteran took a backseat to his backup in Week 1. While Jones had three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown in the opener, he had just eight carries (compared with 15 for Jordan Mason).
The betting market suggests we’ll see something similar Sunday night, as Mason (13.5) is projected for four more carries than Jones (9.5). I disagree and expect the Vikings to script a Jones-heavy game plan. Keep this in mind: In his first season in Minnesota last year, Jones had double-digit carries in 14 of 17 games. On the three occasions when he toted the pigskin fewer than 10 times, Jones logged 19, 14 and 13 carries in the ensuing contest.
Tail this bet at Caesars at -115 odds. That’s a 53.49% win probability, with a winning $10 bet paying $8.70.
🔥 Justin Jefferson to score 2+ touchdowns (+750) ⭐⭐

In 80 career regular-season and playoff games, Vikings stud wideout Justin Jefferson has scored two touchdowns in a game a total of six times. That 7.5% success rate doesn’t exactly inspire confidence that this bet will hit. But what if I told you that one-third of Jefferson’s two-touchdown performances came in his only two career games against the Falcons (including in Week 14 last season)?
Now, what if I told you that Atlanta surrendered 34 passing TDs in 2024, the second-most in the league? And what if I told you that three of Baker Mayfield’s 17 completions against the Falcons last week resulted in touchdowns - with Emeka Egbuka hauling in two in his NFL debut?
All of a sudden this long-shot prop, which has an implied win probability of 11.76% and would return $75 on a $10 wager at BetMGM, looks more winnable, doesn’t it?

How do NFL player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
