Rams to win the NFC West (-145)
The Los Angeles Rams are currently tied with the Seattle Seahawks atop the NFC West, but the Rams currently own the tiebreaker. These two teams face-off against each other again in Week 16 on Sunday Night Football in Seattle - and I expect the Rams to win that game to effectively secure the division title.
The Rams also end the season with matchups against the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals, two teams that have already been eliminated from the playoffs. Barring a miracle in either of those games, the only chance the Seahawks have is to win the head-to-head matchup with the Rams - otherwise, we'll cash this bet at -145 odds, which features an implied probability of 59.18% with a $10 bet returning a $6.90 profit.
Steelers to win the AFC North (-160)
The Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 15 off a massive win over the Baltimore Ravens, giving them a one-game lead with the tiebreaker heading into the final four weeks. That could be a difficult gap for the Ravens to overcome, as the Steelers have a significantly easier schedule down the stretch. Here's a look at each team's remaining slate:
| Date | Ravens | Steelers |
|---|---|---|
| Week 15 | @ Bengals | vs. Dolphins |
| Week 16 | vs. Patriots | @ Lions |
| Week 17 | @ Packers | @ Browns |
| Week 18 | @ Steelers | vs. Ravens |
With a one-game lead and an easier remaining schedule, it seems to me that the Steelers are in a significantly better situation than the Ravens. It feels like this bet should be closer to -200 odds than -160, so there is plenty of value left on this play with a winning $10 bet returning a $6.25 profit.
Colts to win the AFC South (+2700)
The Indianapolis Colts are in a tricky spot after losing starting quarterback Daniel Jones for the season with a torn Achilles - a tough blow for a team that looked like a playoff contender in the early part of the 2025 NFL season. Not only is the team without Jones but backups Riley Leonard and Anthony Richardson both face injuries, too, leading to the possibility that Philip Rivers could play for the Colts after coming out of retirement.
While the Colts currently sit third in the AFC South, they are only one game of the division lead. Indianapolis plays each team ahead of it in the standings over the final four weeks of the season, and if it can manage to win out, we have a legitimate chance to cash this bet at +2700 odds, which would turn a $10 bet into a $270 profit. That's just too rich to not take a chance on, especially if Rivers has anything left in the tank over the next four weeks.
Other NFL division predictions
Patriots to win the AFC East (-550)
I'm not necessarily recommending a bet on the New England Patriots as there is no value at these -550 odds. However, they will likely win the division as they sit two games above the Bills with only four games remaining. That said, I would take the Buffalo Bills to win the Super Bowl at +850 odds. Buffalo's path has never been clearer for a run to the big game. There's a chance Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes could both miss the playoffs, which opens the door for the Bills to make a deep run.
Broncos to win the AFC West (-600)
The AFC West divisional race has essentially already been decided, and the heavily favored Denver Broncos will have no problem taking the division. Denver has a two-game lead over the Los Angeles Chargers, and with Justin Herbert banged up, I don't expect the Chargers to make up enough ground to overthrow the Broncos. I am very low on Denver heading into the postseason, though, as I think it'll lose in either the wild card or divisional round.
Eagles to win the NFC East (-1000)
The NFC East is a tough division to look at, as the lowly New York Giants and Washington Commanders are both bottom-dwellers, but the Philadelphia Eagles are by far the cream of the crop in this division and have been for several years. The Dallas Cowboys had a chance to bridge the gap but lost a must-win game against the Lions in Week 14 that has essentially locked them into second place. Dallas is currently two games back from Philly and are likely out of the wild-card race, too. This bet is dealing at -1000 odds for a reason - expect the Eagles to repeat as NFC East champions.
Packers to win the NFC North (-230)
The NFC North has been one of the exciting divisions in 2025, and the Green Bay Packers have a half-game lead after beating the Chicago Bears in Week 14. I do believe both teams make the playoffs, but the Packers should have no issues winning the division. If this price was a bit shorter, I would recommend a play here, but there just isn't any value at these -230 odds. I do recommend taking the Packers to win the Super Bowl at +800, and if we see the Packers face the Bills in the big game, we are guaranteed to profit with a bet on each team at +800 odds.
Buccaneers to win the NFC South (-290)
The NFC South has featured a surprise division contender in the Carolina Panthers, who are having a phenomenal year after entering the year with very low expectations. They're tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7-6, and those teams play each other twice in the final four weeks of the regular season. I expect the Bucs, who are getting healthier by the week, to win both games and secure the division. I am not recommending any bets here, as there isn't any value on these -290 odds, but I just don't believe in the Panthers enough with two matchups left with Tampa Bay.
