- The Cowboys continue to negotiate with star pass-rusher Micah Parsons, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract. The All-Pro's status for Week 1 vs. the Eagles is up in the air.
- Left tackle Tyler Guyton hurt his knee in late July, keeping him out of the preseason but potentially in play for the start of the regular season.
