Christian McCaffrey, one of the NFL's most talented running backs, was acquired precisely for this purpose. Can the Niners' backfield star lead them to the Super Bowl? Here are our top Christian McCaffrey NFL player prop bets for the NFC Championship Game based on the best NFL odds.

Christian McCaffrey is arguably the most important player in the dynamic San Francisco offense. But because of the various ways he can impact a game, it can be difficult to project how his production will play out during a given week.

Here are our best Christian McCaffrey NFL player props for the NFC Championship Game (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook and BetMGM; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Christian McCaffrey player prop bets

McCaffrey Over 4.5 receptions (+102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McCaffrey hasn’t been as consistently involved in the receiving game since the trade that sent him to San Francisco. CMC didn’t produce a game with fewer than four targets with the Carolina Panthers to begin the campaign. He's finished under that number five times with the Niners.

But McCaffrey’s high-end involvement as a receiver is still plausible every week. Six of his 13 games with the Niners have resulted in six-plus receptions. McCaffrey only needs to reach five receptions Sunday to cash this plus-money prop through FanDuel.

The number seems unlikely to move off 4.5 receptions, but we’re watching the odds to make sure it remains in plus-money territory. The attractiveness of the wager is diminished if it dips into the -105 range, rendering it a three-star recommendation.

McCaffrey Over 56.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Philadelphia's run defense has endured plenty of slipups while allowing 121.4 yards per game. Perhaps more surprisingly, the Eagles have allowed 4.7 yards per carry (24th).

A leading rusher on the opposing team has hit the Over on this total in three straight games against the Eagles. McCaffrey has been oscillating between triple-digit rushing efforts and sub-50-yard games over the past seven weeks, but the matchup against Philly is inviting.

DraftKings lists the CMC rushing total at 57.5 yards with -115 odds for an Over bet. BetMGM’s odds are -120 for the same rushing line. That makes FanDuel the most attractive option, as it's featuring McCaffrey at 56.5 yards with -114 odds on the Over.

This pick drops to three stars if the number creeps up to 59.5 without gaining more favorable odds.

McCaffrey anytime touchdown scorer (-120) ⭐⭐⭐

Oddmakers believe McCaffrey is the most likely player to score a touchdown during the NFC Championship Game, as he’s the only player listed with minus odds. The Eagles have allowed 15 rushing touchdowns on the season, which ranks near the middle of the pack leaguewide.

Though McCaffrey could cede close goal-line work to Elijah Mitchell, it would be bonkers not to put arguably the most skilled running back in the game when the Niners are near paydirt. CMC can beat a defense in so many different ways, and he's scored during an eye-popping eight straight games.

FanDuel lists this prop at -130. DraftKings offers a bit more value at -125. BetMGM takes the cake, though, with CMC listed at -120 to find the end zone on Sunday. Because the odds aren’t particularly juicy, we’re maxing this out as a three-star recommendation unless it reaches plus-money territory.
