Best Broncos vs. Chargers Player Prop Bets: NFL Week 3 Odds & Expert Picks

My best Broncos vs. Chargers player props lean into Marvin Mims Jr. as a deep-ball receiving threat with anytime TD scorer odds that are disproportionate to his role in the Denver offense. My NFL picks continue with a Bo Nix rushing prop that he shattered in two games against the Chargers last season.
As part of our NFL predictions for Week 3, I’m betting on Omarion Hampton finally getting a chance to showcase his receiving skills at the professional level.
The action kicks off for Broncos vs. Chargers from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., at 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS). The Chargers are 2.5-point betting favorites.

🔥Marvin Mims Jr. anytime TD (+360) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Broncos and Chargers are the only two teams in the NFL not to have allowed a touchdown to a wide receiver yet this season, but both sides are also stout against the run. I’m targeting Marvin Mims Jr. as a player whose odds are favorable relative to his involvement as a scoring threat for the Denver offense.
Mims Jr. had a pair of multi-touchdown games to end the 2024 season and found the end zone in Week 2. Though his snap share has been lower than Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin so far this year, Mims Jr. is a red zone and deep threat.
His odds to score an anytime touchdown at +360 from FanDuel feel like a strong value given his scoring prowess dating back to the end of last season. The implied probability at those odds is 21.74%. A winning $10 bet on this prop would profit $36.00.
⬆️ Bo Nix Over 20.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Early on in 2025, Bo Nix has shown a willingness to take off and run, logging 11 carries through two games. Though his efficiency on the ground hasn’t been strong, I am targeting Bo Nix Over 20.5 rushing yards given his rushing volume and the matchup.
In two games against the Chargers last season, Nix logged rushing totals of 61 and 25 yards, respectively. The Chargers permitted a 57-yard rushing output to Patrick Mahomes in Week 1.
With lines from 20.5 to 22.5 rushing yards across our best sportsbooks, FanDuel offers the best odds with -114 odds on Over 20.5 rushing yards. That comes with an implied probability of 53.27%. A winning $10 bet on this prop would profit $8.77.
⬆️ Omarion Hampton Over 2.5 receptions (+142) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In college, Omarion Hampton’s skill set incorporated plenty of pass-catching as he hauled in 38 receptions in his final year at North Carolina. But with only three catches through two NFL games, his receiving chops haven’t been on display in the early going with the Chargers, setting up a more attainable betting line on Sunday.
Only the Rams have allowed fewer receptions to the running back position than the Broncos (3), but we’re fading that as small sample size noise. Denver’s defense allowed the seventh-most RB receptions in the NFL last season.
Hampton’s line sits at 1.5 receptions across most of our top sportsbooks, but we’ll get aggressive by playing Over 2.5 receptions at DraftKings (+142). The implied probability at those odds is 41.32%. A winning $10 bet would profit $14.20.

How do NFL player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
