Bengals vs. Ravens Prediction & Opening Odds for Thanksgiving: NFL Week 13

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ offense are set to put up plenty of points against the Bengals’ 32nd-ranked scoring defense.

My best Bengals vs. Ravens prediction based on the opening odds for the Thanksgiving game highlights why there should be plenty of scoring between these two teams. The Ravens covering the spread as a 7- or 7.5-point betting favorite is one of the more popular early picks. Kickoff from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore is set for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC).

There is a chance that the Bengals may get Joe Burrow back for this game, which could impact the spread for this game and our best NFL Week 13 predictions.

⬆️  Over 51.5 (-109) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The last time the Ravens allowed more than 20 points was in Week 5. Since then, they’ve held six consecutive opponents below that number, and while two of those offenses rank in the top 10 in the NFL, their last four opponents all rank 24th or worse.

While the Bengals are averaging 22.5 points per game (19th-best), they’ve scored at least 30 in three of their last five. Quarterback Joe Burrow may start this week, which would be great news for the offense. But even if he doesn’t, the Bengals are averaging over 27 points per game with Joe Flacco under center.

The Bengals’ defense is allowing a league-worst 32.7 points per game, which is bad news against the 10th-best scoring offense in the league. Caesars’ price of -109 implies a 52.15% chance this Over hits. A $10 bet would profit $9.17

🔢 Bengals vs. Ravens opening odds

  • Moneyline: Bengals +300 | Ravens -375
  • Spread: Bengals +7 (-110) | Ravens -7 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 52.5 (-110) | Under 52.5 (-110)

↔️ Bengals vs. Ravens line movement

Bettors are split on the total right now, yet oddsmakers have dropped the number from 52.5 to 51.5. If the Bengals announce that Burrow is starting, then I expect this total to climb to at least 53.5, if not higher.

The Ravens are already favored by 7.5 at many of the best sports betting sites, which isn’t surprising considering how these teams have played all season. However, once again, where this spread ultimately ends up will depend on Burrow. If he plays, look for this to dip to 6.5 or lower.
