Oronde Gadsden, TE, Chargers (+255) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A fifth-round rookie, Oronde Gadsden had been targeted at least five times in six straight games before receiving just two looks (making one 27-yard catch) in the 31-14 blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders last time out. A tighter game tonight, as suggested by the spread, should keep him and other Chargers pass-catchers much more involved.

Gadsden has a 74.5% catch rate through 10 games, totaling 534 yards and two touchdowns. While the Eagles are strong against tight ends with a 61.3% catch rate allowed to the position, they have given up three touchdowns. I see a less-than-fully healthy Herbert keeping it safe in the passing game and looking for his 6-foot-5 tight end in short-yardage situations, especially in the red zone.

Kimani Vidal, RB, Chargers (+300) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We're seeing inflated anytime touchdown scorer odds for Kimani Vidal with rookie Omarion Hampton returning to the Chargers' lineup tonight. Vidal, a sophomore, played at least 52% of the snaps in seven straight games while Hampton was out due to injury. He turned in three games with 117 or more rushing yards and scored four total touchdowns in that time.

Hampton has odds of +185 (FanDuel) to score tonight, but I'm taking the higher number for Vidal. Head coach Jim Harbaugh praised Vidal's running style and seemed to suggest he'll continue to play a role. Herbert's injury concerns could put an even larger emphasis on the run game as L.A. tries to control the clock in this prime-time home game.

Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (+310) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dallas Goedert hasn't scored in four straight games as the Eagles' entire offense has completely dried up, but he was targeted at least four times in three of those four games. And he still sits at a career-best seven touchdowns for the season following plenty of success earlier in the campaign.

The Chargers have allowed opposing tight ends to catch 71.9% of their targets and score six touchdowns through 12 games.

Goedert's my top anytime touchdown scorer prediction from the Eagles in what's projected as a low-scoring game of ball control. Pearson has the Under on Goedert's receiving line in his Eagles vs. Chargers player props, but that could still include a red-zone touchdown.
