It is all eyes on San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy as he attempts to lead his underdog Niners into the Super Bowl. However, the team's run game has the potential to accomplish this goal. Read on for our top San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles SGP picks based on the best NFL odds.

The 49ers (15-4) enter Sunday’s NFC Championship Game riding a 12-game winning streak but questions persist as to how rookie QB Brock Purdy handles a raucous road environment in Philadelphia.

The Eagles (15-3) sleepwalked through the regular season, only really reaching a stumbling block toward the end in games that QB Jalen Hurts sat out. Philly's flashy offense, though, may have trouble when it invites the NFL’s top defense to town.

49ers ML (+132) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s fair to question whether Purdy can perform in a road environment against the NFL’s top Pass Defense DVOA. Look for San Francisco's run game to seize the day against Philly’s 21st-ranked Rush Defense DVOA.

On the other side, the Niners should test the Eagles' powerful running attack. Philly is used to having its way on the ground, but if the league's top run defense shuts things down, it'll put newfound pressure on Hurts to win the game through the air.

This matchup should be handicapped as a pick’em, so taking the underdog on the moneyline instead of the spread boosts the SGP odds. FanDuel offers slightly stronger value at +132 compared to +125 for SGPs at DraftKings.

Christian McCaffrey Over 57.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though Niners running back Christian McCaffrey didn't practice this week after running the ball just 10 times for 35 yards in the Divisional win over the Dallas Cowboys, look for him to show up in a major way Sunday.

Dallas’ fifth-ranked Rush Defense DVOA was a tougher matchup than the one CMC will see this week, a unit ranked 21st in that category. The Eagles have the NFL's top pass defense. To make life easier on Purdy, this matchup begs for a heavy dose of McCaffrey. CMC cleared this line in five of his past eight games.

DK has McCaffrey's SGP rushing line at 54.5 with -150 odds or 64.5 with +115 odds. I don’t consider either line more attractive than FD's standard 57.5 (-113) offer. If the line reaches 60.5 yards, it would decrease to a three-star recommendation.

Deebo Samuel Over 22.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This prop is another kind of stat line we could see in a world where 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan protects his rookie seventh-round quarterback. Although San Francisco wideout Deebo Samuel cleared this rushing line just five times this season, the matchup against the Eagles should help his involvement in the run game bear fruit.

Samuel carried the ball seven times over the past two playoff games, going 1-for-2 in clearing this line. The Cowboys’ stout run D keyed on Deebo to ensure he wouldn’t break the big play. I’m not convinced the Eagles have the same linebacking speed to keep Samuel from breaking out for a big gain on one of several rushing attempts he should receive Sunday.

DraftKings lists Samuel at -105 to reach 25+ rushing yards. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze on that line, either, solidifying our decision to play this SGP at FanDuel.
