🔥 Rico Dowdle to score 2 TD (+460) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rico Dowdle has regained his RB1 status for the foreseeable future after the Carolina Panthers have finally decided he needs to be the main tailback. Dowdle was dominant in his Week 9 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, rushing 25 times for a whopping 130 yards and even finding pay dirt twice in the Panthers' 16-13 upset win over the Packers. 

This week, the Panthers are hosting potentially the worst team in football in the New Orleans Saints. The Saints enter Week 10 as the ninth-worst rushing defense in the NFL, allowing 129.4 yards per game on the ground. The Panthers are entering this game as the fifth-best rushing attack in football, tallying 139.8 yards per game on the ground. This to me screams a massive opportunity for Dowdle to have a big offensive performance.

If he can replicate his Week 9 performance - or even play close to that level - he will have no issues cashing the first leg of our 2 TD parlay with his +460 odds turning a $10 bet into a $46 profit with an implied probability of 17.86%.

The Detroit Lions are entering Week 10 after a lackluster 27-24 loss to the surging Minnesota Vikings. The good news for the Lions and their fans? One of the best recipes to getting back on track this season is to play the Washington Commanders - which is exactly what Detroit gets to do on Sunday afternoon. 

The Lions are currently the ninth-best rushing team in the NFL (125.1 YPG) and will face the 11th-worst run defense (124.2 YPG) on the other side of Sunday's matchup. This Commanders defense has also been bitten by the injury bug, and the team's morale couldn't be any lower entering this week following a brutal 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks that saw Jayden Daniels go down and the Seahawks effectively bench their entire offense in the fourth quarter.

For the Lions to be successful, they need to lean heavily on Jahmyr Gibbs. They learned that the hard way last week, when Gibbs only had 9 carries on the day and the offense was unable to move the ball. This week, I anticipate a completely different game plan against the Commanders with a heavy dose of Gibbs all game long. Gibbs has already had multiple games this season with two or more touchdowns, and I expect this week to be the third game he reaches 2+ TDs.
