One of the best early season tournaments in college basketball will conclude on Friday when the Tennessee Volunteers and Kansas Jayhawks square off in the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game. Even though Kansas may be ranked higher in the polls, Tennessee is the favorite, as the Volunteers are laying 1.5 points against Kansas.

Kansas vs. Tennessee Odds Analysis
Tennessee opened as a 1.5-point favorite over Kansas, but the spread has fluctuated multiple times between Tennessee -1.5 and a pick'em. Since 67% of the bets are on Kansas, I wouldn't be surprised if that trend continues throughout the day.
The total opened at 134, but it's fallen to 132 at the majority of sportsbooks. I don't believe it will stop at 132, and it seems likely that we'll see 131 around the market as tipoff approaches.

Kansas vs. Tennessee Picks

Kansas vs. Tennessee ATS Pick
Kansas +1.5 (-110) ★★★
Tennessee and Kansas are both coming off emotional wins in semifinal matches, with the Volunteers defeating USC in overtime and Kansas beating Wisconsin in overtime. It's unusual to see No. 3 Kansas catching points from No. 22 Tennessee. This isn't a trap game. Instead, it's simply a market that KenPom's numbers are influencing heavily. KenPom projects Tennessee to earn a three-point win.
There are excellent numbers available through KenPom, which I use frequently in my own research. But I believe Kansas should be the one-point favorite over Tennessee. The best player on the floor is Jalen Wilson, who plays for Kansas, and Bill Self has returned from his suspension to coach the Jayhawks.
Back the Jayhawks at +1.5, which is a 2.5-point gap from where I believe the game should be traded.
Kansas vs. Tennessee O/U Pick
Over 132 (-110) ★★★
Since both Tennessee and Kansas will be fatigued coming off an overtime win and playing a third game in three days, I think the Under is the easiest narrative to run with for this championship contest.
But no one is tired while shooting. Instead, that comes into play when guarding someone. You can have a sprained ankle, and if someone passes the ball to you, the ankle is magically healed.
It's likely the fatigue angle is the reason the total opened at 134 and has been bet down to 132. The idea that both teams could be tired has been incorporated into the total, which is the reason it's trading so low.
But that adjustment has gone too far, as the total should be trading closer to 137. Definitely bet the Over, as the total is trading five points below where I would put it for this matchup.
You should shop around before placing this bet. The total may drop even further to 131, but at the moment DraftKings is offering the best price at 132 (-110).
