The Cornhuskers were winless in the NCAA Tournament before this year, but now they are one rivalry victory away from a trip to the Elite Eight. KenPom projects Nebraska to win by three points, but the season series was split 1-1 for a reason.

All signs point to a grind-it-out, defensive battle on Thursday. Both teams play extremely slowly, with Iowa ranking 361st in adjusted tempo and Nebraska ranking 231st.
These two teams have already played twice, averaging 58.5 total points in the first half. They should be plenty familiar with each other in the third installment, particularly since they last faced off in the regular-season finale on March 8.
