Sunday’s 21-game slate has a lot at stake for several teams’ NCAA Tournament chances, and my college basketball predictions today includes a pick from one of those games.

The two games involving AP-ranked teams are both Big Ten battles, and those Ohio State-Michigan State and Iowa-Wisconsin matchups are the subjects of my player prop wagers.

💰 Best college basketball bet today

Robert Morris vs. Wright State prediction: Wright State -3.5 (-120)

Wright State looks to clinch the Horizon League regular-season title.

The Raiders seek to avenge a 72-66 road loss to the Colonials, and a week off could have come at a poor time for a Robert Morris team that has won four straight.

I expect this rematch to be different since Wright State shot just 42% at the rim in the first meeting. That was the only game the Raiders were held below 50% on rim attempts in a league game, and they normally rank in the 93rd percentile while shooting 61% on such shots, per Synergy.

Saint Peter’s vs. Siena prediction: Over 137.5 (-105)

Saint Peter’s and Siena combined for 135 points in a 70-65 Peacocks win on Feb. 7. But the Saints started to find their momentum in the second half with 37 points (after scoring 28 in the first half) despite making just three of 17 3-point attempts.

Instead of settling for 3-pointers in the rematch, I expect the downhill attack from Gavin Doty and Justice Shoats to give the Peacocks problems, while the latter is unlikely to repeat his 0-for-8 performance from 2-point range. Meanwhile, Saint Peter’s finished with an average 2-point attempt distance of 8.5 feet, and that should be even shorter if it can again secure 37.9% of its misses.

The best price for this prop bet is -105 via DraftKings, but there's value up to -120.

Ohio State vs. Michigan State prediction: Bruce Thornton Over 1.5 made 3-pointers (-125)

Few defenses wall off the paint and the rim better than Michigan State. The Spartans force 3-point attempts at a top 20 rate (46.5%), so I expect a heavier volume of shots beyond the arc than usual from Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are making a higher percentage of their 3-point shots in league play (35.1%) compared to their season-long 3-point percentage (34.9%). And Thornton is making nearly 40% of his shots from beyond the arc, with multiple 3-point makes in three of the last four games.

Iowa vs. Wisconsin prediction: Nolan Winter Over 11.5 points (-110)

Wisconsin is a team that is largely dependent on backcourt scoring, as Nick Boyd and John Blackwell combine for 47% of the Badgers’ points. But center Nolan Winter is the only other player averaging in double figures (13.6 points per game), and this should be a game where he exceeds his scoring average.

Iowa entered the weekend ranked 74th nationally in defensive efficiency over its last ten games. Those weaknesses are magnified by a soft interior defense that has allowed 57% from 2-point range over that span.

💡 How I'm betting college basketball today

Follow all of our college basketball analysis and expert predictions this season.

Wright State is my only two-unit play compared to one unit on all other wagers, as the Raiders have covered 58.8% of their conference games. Meanwhile, I am bucking the trend that the Under has cashed in eight of Siena’s nine games following a loss.

I am also backing two Overs on player props in Big Ten games that have totals of 146.5 or higher.

🚀 Best college basketball parlay picks today

In addition to the four plays above, I am adding a play on Merrimack’s moneyline odds as a fifth leg for this parlay. The Warriors have won seven straight games (which is the nation’s ninth-longest active winning streak), and adding them to this parlay brings the odds from +1091 to a more enticing +1353.
