💰 Best Thunder vs. Mavericks player prop picks

⬆️ Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 38.5 points + assists (-119) ⭐⭐⭐

After opening the season with back-to-back double-OT marathon wins against the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers, OKC finally got a “normal” win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, prevailing by 17. SGA still managed 35 points + assists in just 29 minutes, a testament to his efficiency.

The reigning MVP hasn't even been shooting well from 3-point range - he’s made just 22.7% of his shots from distance after draining 37.5% last season - and he’s still averaging 40 points per game.

The extra time on the floor has helped that figure, but SGA averaged 32.7 points and 6.4 assists a year ago. He’s also facing a Mavs team on its third game in four nights, allowing 50.5% shooting over its first three games.

At -119 odds on DraftKings, the bet has a 54.3% implied probability of hitting, while a $10 bet would net $8.40 in profit.

⬆️ Cooper Flagg Over 25.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After a so-so pro debut against an ascending San Antonio Spurs squad, Cooper Flagg has begun hitting his stride, averaging 20 points, 5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds on 50% shooting in his subsequent pair of games.

He totaled 29 and 30 points + rebounds + assists in those two contests, and although he’s experiencing his first back-to-back/three-games-in-four-nights sequence in the NBA, this remains a reachable prop for the versatile first overall pick.

The Mavericks are an 8-point betting underdog Monday against the defending champions, but they’re still projected to score about 110 points, a solid figure that Flagg, who’s put up 13.7 shot attempts per game thus far, should have a significant hand in approximating.

Additionally, OKC’s typically above-average defense could force a fair share of missed shots, which could leave Flagg in a good position for some offensive rebounds and/or second-chance shots.

At -112 odds on FanDuel, the bet has a 52.8% implied probability of hitting, and a $10 bet would net $8.93 in profit.

⬆️ Anthony Davis to record a double-double (-185) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oddsmakers don’t seem overly concerned with the possibility of fatigue affecting Anthony Davis on Monday based on the line for this prop. Davis has opened the new season with three straight double-doubles over a five-day period, and the big man sports a 29.5% usage rate thus far as he helps make up for the season-opening absence of Kyrie Irving.

The path to scoring and rebounding down low against the usually formidable Thunder may also be a bit less difficult than usual on Monday, as Chet Holmgren is listed as questionable with a back injury.

Davis posted a double-double in his one meeting with the Thunder last season while still with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he has a much bigger role at the moment in Dallas.

At -185 odds on FanDuel, the bet has a 64.9% implied probability of hitting, while a $10 bet would net $5.41 in profit.
