Don't bother with any Scott Foster trends, there's a much better bet in the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns matchup. Sportsbook Review betting analyst Jon Metler shares his NBA best bets for Tuesday's three-game NBA playoff schedule using the best NBA odds.
There's nothing better than discovering a rogue price at sports betting sites and the projections indicating that the bet will go Over the total.
That's what we have on Tuesday with the Norman Powell points prop, which is why it receives a five-star rating with our NBA best bets (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Tuesday’s NBA player prop picks
Player prop: Jalen Brunson Over 5.5 assists vs. Cavaliers (-115 via PointsBet) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jalen Brunson had only two assists against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1, so if you're a trends bettor, you'll probably hate this pick, but trends don't matter to me, so I'm taking Over 5.5 assists. Brunson was trading at Over 6.5 assists before Game 1, so his inability to drop any dimes is helping us obtain a more favorable price point in Game 2.
As Brunson is projected to record 6.3 assists against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, this prop should be trading at -150 instead of -115. The expected value of this wager is 12% based on the projection.
With this wager, price shopping will also play a key role in maximizing your expected value as the Over on Brunson's assist prop trades at -132 at Caesars and -130 at DraftKings. Be sure to check FanDuel as well before placing this wager at PointsBet, as FanDuel keeps fluctuating between -113 and -115 for this prop on this Knicks vs. Cavaliers prediction.
Player prop: Julius Randle Over 3.5 assists vs. Cavaliers (+118 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was pleasantly surprised that the Over 3.5 assists opened at plus money once again following the +133 price point in Game 1. Randle surpassed that total with four assists. I fully expect this total to move throughout Tuesday, and I anticipate we will see it trading at minus odds as we approach tip-off.
This prop should trade at -155 rather than +118, since Randle is projected to have 4.3 assists against the Cavaliers on Tuesday. This is a massive edge in the odds and represents an expected value of 33%.

This projection leaves little choice but to take advantage of FanDuel's +118 price point, especially when a book like DraftKings is only offering +105 for Randle to record more than 3.5 assists.
In contrast, betting on Randle at +105 via DraftKings rather than grabbing the +118 that's available on FanDuel would result in a decrease in expected value from 33% to 25%. An 8% difference is significant, as this can sometimes be our entire edge in other wagers.
Player prop: Norman Powell Over 14.5 points vs. Suns (-118 via BetRivers) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Powell is projected to score 16.6 points against the Suns on Tuesday, which is well above his total and enables us to price this prop at -150. If we're being honest, that's a good enough reason to hit the button, but things get better from there.
The Pinnacle line opened at 14.5 points, and the Over was trading at -128, which is 10 cents shorter than BetRivers' odds for the Over.
It's still getting even better.
The Pinnacle line has been adjusted to Over 14.5 points (-150), and BetRivers still has a -118 price point on the Over.

PointsBet responded by moving the total to 15.5 points with an Over of -115. It's a full point higher than BetRivers and almost identical in terms of juice. BetRivers offers the best price on the Over for Powell, and our projections indicate that you should take advantage of it, quickly.
