One starter I don’t expect the Cavaliers to push in an NBA Cup matchup that might not mean much is Darius Garland. He’s questionable to return from a toe injury after 10 days away from the team. This comes after he didn’t make his season debut until Nov. 5.

Garland has only played three games this year. Cleveland’s chances of winning the Eastern Conference might depend on his health, so I don’t expect him to have a long leash. He’s averaging 24.3 minutes this year, which is down from his average of 30.7 minutes last season.

Garland has only cleared this combo line once in three games. I like the Under on Friday to win $8 on a $10 bet with an implied probability of 55.56%.

As expected, Indiana guard Andrew Nembhard has embraced a bigger role without Tyrese Haliburton in the lineup this year. Nembhard is averaging a career-best 17.4 points per game in his fourth NBA season.

Nembhard’s usage has increased across the board. He’s averaging 13.5 field-goal attempts, up from his career average of 8.4. He’s attempting 5.5 3-pointers, which is nearly four more per game than his career mark.

It’s all culminated in Nembhard clearing this scoring prop in five of his eight matchups. With the rest of our best sports betting sites setting this line at 16.5, I’ll take advantage of FanDuel’s deal for Nembhard.

Cleveland big man Evan Mobley has averaged four dimes per contest. He’s cleared 3.5 assists in nine of his 15 games. However, there are two reasons why I like the value on this Under:

Firstly, Garland might return tonight to steal some potential assists. Secondly, the Pacers are a favorable matchup from a scoring perspective.

Indiana ranks 22nd against post-ups and 27th against the roll man on pick-and-roll plays. Mobley should have more success as a scorer on Friday. And the market reflects that.

The Under on Mobley’s assists line is -160 at BetMGM, which highlights a substantial discount at FanDuel. The -132 odds translate to an implied probability of 56.90%.
