The Brooklyn Nets face a depleted Toronto Raptors team on Monday, as we dig into our Nets vs. Raptors NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

March hasn't been kind to the Toronto Raptors (23-48), who sit 12th in the Eastern Conference after losing 10 straight and 12 of their last 13 games. They'll try to get right on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets (26-45), with tip-off from Scotiabank Arena scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

As if it wasn't bad enough for the Raptors these days amid their losing spiral, they'll be without four starters for this matchup. While the Nets haven't played much better than Toronto this season, Brooklyn is a 6.5-point favorite across our best sports betting sites and will have the vast majority of its key contributors.

It sets up well for Brooklyn to have a big night as it tries to climb in the NBA Play-In Tournament odds.

Here are our best Nets vs. Raptors NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Nets vs. Raptors props

Cam Thomas Over 24.5 points (+105 via Betway) ⭐⭐⭐

The Raptors have one of the worst defenses in the NBA, and that was before losing multiple starters for this matchup with the Nets. Toronto allows the seventh most points per game in the league (118.1) and ranks 24th in defensive rating (118.0). With the Raptors being down both Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett, it should have Cam Thomas raring to go for this game.

Thomas leads Brooklyn in points per game (21.5) and has had at least 25 points in four of eight games since returning from injury. Over that eight-game stretch, he's averaging 24.8 points per game and has seen an uptick in his minutes - he's averaged 34.8 minutes over these eight games vs. his season average of 30.6.

With Toronto being depleted and Thomas playing at another level in recent weeks, he's poised to take advantage of a Raptors defense that's been giving up 22.6 points per game to shooting guards when it's at full strength. The +105 odds at Betway imply a 48.78% probability this prop hits, according to our odds calculator

Nic Claxton Over 11.5 rebounds (+110 via Betway) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Being down several starters won't just impact the Raptors' already flimsy defense, but it's going to kill them when it comes to rebounds, too. Toronto is without starting center Jakob Poeltl - the team's leading rebounder - as well as Barnes and Barrett, who are the only other two players on the team averaging at least five boards per game. Toronto will have a noticeable lack of height for this matchup and is even expected to start Ochai Agbaji - a 6-foot-5 guard - at power forward.

That should open the door for Nix Claxton to clean the glass and rack up rebounds. He leads the Nets with 9.7 rebounds per game this season and has had double-digit rebounds in six of his last nine games. This is already a Toronto team that allows the fifth most rebounds per game to opponents (45.1) and specifically struggles with centers.

The Raptors give up the fourth most rebounds per game in the NBA to centers (15.88) and that puts Claxton in great position to have his 18th game of at least 12 rebounds this season. A $10 wager on these odds at Betway would result in an $11 profit.

Gradey Dick Over 2.5 made 3-pointers (+120 via Betway) ⭐⭐⭐

The one bright spot of being down so many key players for Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic is that he gets to take a deeper look at some of his young talent. Rookie Gradey Dick is averaging just 19.3 minutes per game this season and 1.3 made 3-pointers, but he's making the most of his opportunity as a starter.

Dick has started the last eight games for Toronto and has started to find his rhythm as a 3-point shooter in recent weeks. He's hit at least three 3-pointers in back-to-back games and has done it 10 times in his last 29 outings, despite seeing inconsistent playing time. The Nets give up the 12th most 3-pointers per game to small forwards (2.79) and rank seventh worst in 3-point percentage allowed in the NBA (37.5%).

With Dick slated to start again, and Brooklyn's biggest defensive weakness being its perimeter defense, the first-round pick out of Kansas is set to show why he was selected 13th overall. At +120 odds via Betway, a $10 bet on this prop would lead to a $12 profit.
