After escaping Game 2 in Boston with a win, Miami travels back home on Saturday, and we're offering our top Celtics vs. Heat player props and expert picks based on the best NBA odds.

Despite entering the playoffs with the best record in the league and as the favorites by the NBA championship odds, the Boston Celtics (64-18) are under pressure following their loss in Game 2.

The Miami Heat (46-36) will look to take that momentum from that victory into Game 3, with tip-off set for 6 p.m. ET (TNT) from Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla. The Celtics are 9-point road favorites.

Jimmy Butler is still out, but that didn't stop Miami from pulling off the 111-101 upset in Game 2 on the road. Given the unpredictable nature of this series, characterized by its messiness, Game 3 could turn into a gritty and hard-fought battle.

In addition to our Thunder-Pelicans player props, here are our best Celtics vs. Heat player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Celtics vs. Heat prop bet predictions for Saturday

Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nobody wants to play the Heat in the playoffs because Erik Spoelstra gets more out of his roster than any coach in the NBA; he's like the opposite of Doc Rivers. Even down Butler, Miami stole a game in Boston on the back of Bam Adebayo. The All-Star big man has been terrific in the series against one of the NBA's best defenses. He's averaging 22.5 points and shooting 61.2% from the floor.

The five was one of the only positions the Celtics had trouble with in the regular season, allowing 22.51 points per game to centers. With his increased workload, Adebayo is taking advantage and living up to his name by powering his way to the bucket.

According to our odds converter, this same prop is as short as -121 at our other best sportsbooks, implying a 54.75% probability he hits the Over. A $10 wager on the -104 odds pays out $19.62.

Jrue Holiday Over 2.5 steals + blocks ⭐⭐⭐

Nothing hammers home the messiness of this game like the amount of turnovers, blocks, and steals coming from the Celtics side. It's like a Mac Jones offense with a Bill Belichick defense, but luckily for the Celtics, Jrue Holiday was shipped up to Boston this past offseason, and he's looked ready to dropkick ball handlers throughout this series.

Against a Heat team that ranked among the top 10 in the regular season in blocks and steals allowed, Boston is averaging 7.5 steals and 7 blocks, with Holiday chipping in 3.5 per game himself. The five-time All-Defensive guard has been creating havoc against an offense that looks discombobulated at times without Butler.

While these odds only imply a 46.73% probability that Holiday hits the Over, a $10 bet would cash an $11.40 profit if he does finish with three or more steals and blocks.

Jayson Tatum Under 41.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐

It's pretty obvious why Jayson Tatum sits atop the NBA Finals MVP odds: he's the best player on the best team. He has not played poorly in this series either, but the Heat have a ravenous defense that seems to be playing with an even bigger chip on its shoulder without Butler.

While Tatum is averaging a combined 41 points, rebounds, and assists in the series, his opening-game triple-double is boosting that number. The Heat looked much more prepared for him in Game 2, with their fifth-rated defense holding him to 23 points.

This Miami defense held opposing forwards to a combined 34.1 points, rebounds, and assists in the regular season. At our other best sportsbooks, this same prop is as short as -119, implying a 54.34% probability it hits. The total payout with our odds is $18.93.
