After going 10-1 across Thursday and Friday, I'm back with my NBA best bets today.

I'm targeting the two late games on today's slate, both of which tip off at 9 p.m. ET. My best bet is a side in Pelicans vs. Clippers, followed by two picks - a side and a player prop - for Heat vs. Kings.

Best NBA bet today

Pelicans vs. Clippers prediction: Pelicans -1.5 (-103)

With such a short spread, I can't justify taking 1.5 points with the Clippers. The Pelicans rank 17th in the NBA with a 1.2 net rating, while the Clippers rank 23rd with a -6.1 net rating.

I just can't trust the Clippers' offense to score enough to win this game outright (or lose by just one point). The Clippers rank 26th in the NBA with a 106.7 offensive rating, while the Pelicans are actually slightly above average defensively, ranking 13th in the league with a 111.9 defensive rating. This should be a pretty easy win for New Orleans.

Play to: -2.5 (-106)

Heat vs. Kings prediction: Kings +10.5 (-105)

The Kings are easily a bottom-five team in the NBA, but the Heat haven't been much better.

The Heat rank 24th in the NBA with a -6.8 net rating, while the Kings rank 28th with a -13.5 net rating. While the Heat are obviously the better team - and deserve to be favored - laying 10.5 points on the road is too aggressive.

The Heat have won just one of their three games on this West Coast swing, and that was a one-point overtime win over the Clippers when Miami was a 4.5-point betting favorite. Spread results can be noisy, but the Heat aren't good enough to be laying 10.5 points on the road.

Play to: +9.5 (-103)

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 11.5 rebounds (-118)

Giannis Antetokounmpo has recorded 12 or more rebounds in each of his last six games, and he has a great matchup tonight to continue that streak.

Despite having Domantas Sabonis, the Kings are among the worst rebounding teams in the league. Sacramento ranks 26th in the NBA with a 47.8% rebounding percentage.

Antetokounmpo has recorded 14 rebounds in each of his last two games, and those came against the Warriors and Clippers, who rank 11th and 13th in rebounding percentage, respectively. I would also consider sprinkling on alt Overs in this market at plus money.

Play to: Over 11.5 (-128) or Over 12.5 (+124)
